For comparison and reviews, $189 at newegg Get this monitor for 1920 x1080 resolution. You won't find a cheaper good quality monitor at this resolution. I have a very similar monitor and it runs very well. Slightly lacking in features, but they're not very important features. Last time i ordered a monitor from walmart and asked for regular shipping, I got it the next day in the morning. link

A little update from me. Got my comp together, unlocked cores (phenom 550) and got to windows easily. In all configurations the system instacrashed when I tried to test with prime95 but when I cranked the voltages up the quad has ran supersolidly. Still running some test with slight OC on the CPU and then I get to try my Sapphire 5830 which I heard is a beast to OC so I´m super pumped. I never dreamed my system would run this well... Big TY to everyone in this thread for help and information"! e. @ zekie - crossfire allows two(or more) identical graphics cards to "team up" boosting performance

I don't believe you can put different nvidia cards in SLI, though you can use a separate card for physx. Garnet I think the PSU should be sufficient.

I'm thinking about getting this as my new main monitor, i currently use a samsung 2ms 22" 16:10. But I'm a bit skeptical, is there really a big difference between 2ms and 5ms? or can you only notice it side by side and actually looking for it? (IE i don't notice vertical tear unless, well I'm looking for it) EDIT: i can't find if the 2ms is for greytogrey or color anywhere T_T

I haven't built in that case, but I have built inside a Silverstone Raven which shares the idea of the 90 degree tilt motherboard. I have to say that it was one of my most beautiful builds ever. I loved the Raven, and the FT02 is just a much better version of the Raven, and imo, the best case on the market atm. The FT02 is absolutely beautiful and it has amazing air cooling so go for it if you can spend the money on it. You won't be disappointed. It is however, very different from conventional cases because of how the PSU is mounted and how the motherboard is mounted. Edit: Also if you get the red/black verison, you get 3 of the best fans on the market atm. The Silverstone penetrators are amazing because of the way they move air in a beautiful cylinder shape.

Yeah the FT02 is a great quality case that you'll probably use for a very long time. Also the way it's oriented keeps gpus very cool because of proving a good airflow to the gpus. Also it's a very quiet case which i also like.

MSI H55M-E33 GT 240 GDDR5 OC core i3-530 2gb ddr3 ram It depends on the actual power output of the PSU, which is hard to know until you're actually putting together the computer. According to Newegg's wattage calculator you'll need 309 W for the build, so a 350W is going to be cutting it pretty close Given Cooler Master's reputation I'd say it's likely that you'll be able to, but it's a close call. I would want to move up to a 400-450W to be safe

SONE: Response time seems to be always listed by GTG unless otherwise specified, since that test gives the best numbers. ![]() Mystor: There's a very similar combo to what you had, actually. Combos are listed near the bottom of an individual product page--click the "browse more combos" link. Also, 2ms vs 5ms won't matter if you're just going to watch movies and play sc2.

(The PSU is in the Case, right?) This would make my computer contain the following: + Show Spoiler + ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner - Bulk - OEM http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135204 Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136073 GIGABYTE GV-N460OC-768I GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 768MB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125334 AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor HDZ955FBGMBOX MSI 890GXM-G65 AM3 AMD 890GX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard Kingston ValueRAM 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model KVR1333D3K2/4GR Antec Three Hundred + BP430 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 430W Power Supply http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.472938 If that is good I only have one more question: Are there any good mice/keyboards that I should buy at the same time (to save on shipping and such)? SONE: Lower response time means less ghosting, among other things. e.g. If there's a fast-moving object on the screen and the monitor has slow response time, you'll see trails (ghosts) behind the object as the screen slowly changes the color to what it's supposed to be with the object no longer there. Granted, 5 ms is not that much and is probably not worth worrying over, particularly for RTS. It's displays in the 10s of ms that may be a concern for gaming. Some more expensive monitors use different technology internally that is better in viewing angle, color reproduction, or other factors, but are worse in response time. Display latency is a rarely-published statistic that's probably more important for gaming and general computer use. But for RTS, especially online where you already have input latency to begin with, display latency and response time are probably not a big deal except in extreme cases.
