It gets to the point where I can't micro at all and I just A move, really takes the fun out of the game. I play on lowest settings possible but it still doesn't help. Looking at my specs, what is it that I have to change to possibly fix this? (does my computer suck?) Microsoft Windows XP (MediaCenterEdition) Version 2002, Service Pack 3 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.40GHz 3.39 GHz 2,00 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE 1280x1024 32-bit A Pentium 4 is a little bit too weak when generating that many units on screen. The 7300 can be good if you lower the resolution a little bit but it really all depends on how much video RAM the card has.

A lot of these newer graphics cards require around 400 watts, but I think you might be able to find a power efficient card that should do the job and run SC2 on medium without having to update your power supply.

As a forward I'm buying this stuff at Best Buy, and not anywhere else. I've got some gift cards and points to use and I can get it today since my other comp is taking a crap. So, anything I get is based off the lists provided. Comp: Click Here @ Bestbuy.com I'm aware that it only has a 250w power supply so I'm going to up it to 600w via this: Power Supply @ bestbuy.com My only issue is which video card to get. I'm looking at spending $100 or less so I know that doesn't get me anything amazing but it'll get me something that can run SC2 on pretty high settings I'm assuming. I'm looking at this list, its priced high to low: Video cards priced high to low. Anyway, any help from the community would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to go pick this stuff up today since my comp won't run it well now as its going out the door ;/. Thanks! ![]()

I'm getting a bug that keeps my cursor frozen in the lower left hand corner of the screen from starting up the game. Functionality still exists, as if I move the mouse over the page it'll highlight buttons and such, but graphically the cursor won't move. Essentially SC 2 is unplayable for me right now, and it sucks. I've read fixes having to do with resolutions and graphic levels, and I've adjusted all of these things to both max and min and every spot in between, no luck. Can anyone help me out here?

I decided to get some parts of my computer upgraded, and I'm not sure if I'm doing this right. Please give me recommendations! As for right now, I have: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+2.21 GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GSO (768 MB) ASUSTeK M2N-MX SE Plus I am going to get: http://www.amazon.com/MSI-Geforce-460GTX-PCI-Express-Graphics/dp/B00446CJDM/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top http://www.amazon.com/AMD-Athlon-Efficient-Dual-Core-Processor/dp/B002PA7U88/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1300040233&sr=8-1 and a 4gb ram. I want to run on Ultra.. will this be enough? Also, please recommend me some other graphics card. The 460GTX is too expensive for me. It would be nice if you can tell me about some other processors. Thank you!

I'll buy those two. ![]() Your motherboard only has 2 ram slots so do you know whether you are using a single 2gb stick or a pair of 1gb sticks at the moment? If you are using a pair of 1gb sticks (most likely you are) than you would want to pick up a 2x2gb kit for as a low of a price you can. Something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820146693
