Asus K72JR
Resolution: 1600 x 900
CPU: Intel Core i5 430M 2.26GHz
GPU: ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470 1GB
RAM: 4GB DDR3 (Could upgrade to 6 if I needed it)
I don't need it to run on Ultra, but medium would be nice. Thanks!

I am a complete noob. I don't have any idea what is good and bad in terms of performance. I'm sure I could figure out that by myself, but I just don't understand anything about any technical term. I would like just someone to tell me if it is normal I can't play SC2 with this computer. Here is my system: Laptop Dell Latitude D430 (very small computer, like 11 inches) Intel Core 2CPU U7600 @ 1,2 GHz 790Mhz 1,99 Go of Ram Graphic card Mobile Intel 945 GM Express Chipset family. I'm sure some people will laugh at this post, but whatever ![]()

CPU- Core i5 750 2.66 ghz quad core GPU - HD Radeon 5770 RAM - 4 GB OCZ 1600 MOBO - Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 OS - Windows 7 Professional I'm thinking high-ultra at 1680x1050 easily, maybe even 1920x1080?

CPU: AMD Athlon II 240 GPU: PNY Geforce GT 240 512 GDDR5 RAM: 3 GB no name brand MOBO: Unknown type cheap looking mobo OS: Windows 7 Home It had integrated graphics, so I also purchased the above video card for $50. I also swapped in better 420 watt PSU that I already had, since it was a 250 watt. Runing 1440 x 900 on all around medium settings. Getting over 100 fps. Haven't really pushed it with large scale battles. Haven't tried high or ultra, I don't think it'll handle it, i dunno.

It should run SC2 on low/medium fairly well. Bear in mind that card is 4 generations behind and was mid-range even at the time. My faithful Asus G1S's GPU burned out and kicked the bucket, so Im building a new desktop CPU- Core i5 750 2.66 ghz quad core GPU - HD Radeon 5770 RAM - 4 GB OCZ 1600 MOBO - Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 OS - Windows 7 Professional I'm thinking high-ultra at 1680x1050 easily, maybe even 1920x1080? Running a fairly similar setup. You can get playable framerates on ultra at 1920x1080 with it. Not amazing, but playable. Knock down a few settings to high and you can hold a solid 60 easily.
