I'm going to assume you have an AMD Phenom II X4 955? Just pay $160 for an ATi 5770 or something and be done with it.

Now I know you don't like the GTS 250, but from what I can see this is a rather big deal on the 250 [$110 USD], and I am trying to balance out the cost of getting the quad core i5 a little bit. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811166004 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130538 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341019 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231193 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131604 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115215 As always, thanks for all the help.

Video card, I'll defer to frag *edit* though you probably are going to be bottle necking your computer if you get the 250, based on relative reviews that i've read in the past

The general idea I'm getting from the build is pretty good. I like the GTS 250 a bit more after seeing how much the 5750 is fetching currently! The problem I'm seeing in your build is actually the OCZ Power supply! I don't like OCZ Power supplies at all. They are always low quality compared to other power supplies at the same wattage. If you don't mind spending the extra $20 (after rebate?) get this Antec http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371015 It is probably much more reliable on the 12V rails and with Antec quality control, and will cost the same without the rebate (which OCZ seems to have trouble honoring!). It is also 80+ certified which will save you money on your power bill. That said, a 650W power supply is way overkill for your setup. I'd just get some 550W or 500W 80+ If you don't mind ugly wiring, Seasonic 550W OEM PSU (amazing quality) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151092 is a great buy. I would buy Antec 550W True Power http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371020 69.99 after rebate. 80+ Bronze! This is a (I think cheaper) case that is one of the best Mid ATX cases out there. Fits just about any card, and has great cooling for its price. Antec 300 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129042&cm_re=Antec_300-_-11-129-042-_-Product

*edit* nevermind you aren't looking at the modxstream line, so it's not 80+ certified

is a very nice combo. The 650W Earthwatts + a more expensive version of the Antec 300 (with LEDS!!!!!). -$20 overall. Actually if I wasn't so in love with Corsair PSUs and the Cooler Master HAF 922 I would go for that. I'm going to take this chance and recommend against that case. It has 3 80mm fans. 80mm fans are fucking loud as hell because they have to spin at much higher rpms than larger fans.

i5 processor, 4g ram dual channel Geforce 9500 gt 1gb ddr2 and I plan to work on a 20 in monitor so I plan on 1900 X1200 I'm worried about my video card if it will run at max quality, but i'm hoping with windows 7 my cpu will compensate. !! Please let me know if i'm wrong ![]()

And no, that 9500GT will not run SC2 at max settings. It is actually one of the weaker graphics cards currently on the market. At that resolution, I would expect Medium.

So do I have to necessarily upgrade my Graphics card? Unless the integrated graphics card is THAT bad, I'm kinda wary about upgrading if my friend can run the game with no problem. (By the way, he streams the game as well and he doesn't encounter much problems.) If I have to upgrade my card, I believe I have to upgrade my PSU as well unless the graphics cards that you suggested to me can run with a 300 Watt PSU and I'd rather not have to upgrade both my PSU and Graphics card.

Igotthell: 1280x1024 should work for high settings? I don't like that cpu. It performs fairly badly compared to the similarly priced i5 750 and only offers a shitty IGP! ![]()
