Diablo 3 is just made for the fun-factor more than anything else, which is why i'll probably enjoy it more than SC2, you can just sit down and have fun without having to invest alot of hours in order to become "good". | ||

StarCraft's appeal is all about competitive gaming, and i think this is going to suffer because of MSB, automining, autocast, etc, no matter what Blizzard does. They may soften its impact, but i still believe that SCII's competitive appeal will be something like 70% or 80% of Broodwar's, while i have no reason to believe that DIII wont be better in every aspect than DII, given that the game is based more around leveling up, collecting powerful items, trading them, cooperative play and just a very small competitive aspect wich i dont will suffer at all with this new game. So, despite my preference for SC2, i believe that DIII will be the better sequel. | ||

Starcraft 2 because even if the melee sucks the mapping community won't. There's a huge lineup of SC mappers waiting to get their hands on it that never even touched WC3. | ||

 It just feels that SC2 will either hit or miss, either awesome or uninteresting. Maybe one of the expansions will make it awesome if it "fail" from the start tho.. | ||
