Tickets have officially been announced to go on sale on May 16th, which is a Saturday. Blizzard also has planned a second batch of ticket sales to take place on May 30th, also a Saturday. For this years round of tickets, they have implemented an entirely new system designed to make buying BlizzCon tickets much easier than last year. The new system will implement a online queue, effectively creating an organized online "line" for anyone who wants to purchase tickets, as opposed to a mad rush for them in disorganized chaos like last year.
Tix are $125 this year also (up from $100). They will start a sale on May 16th, and another one on May 30th.
They seemed to have fixed up a battle plan for the nerd rush on the tickets this time. One method being a lottery and the other being an online queue which is a virtual line to wait in (ofc).

I believe on the 16th, there'll be some link to enter the queue on their official site. So no, you can't get in line until the 16th when they start selling tickets. Looking forward to this year's blizzcon, it's pretty close to my home so if I can get some tickets I'll be there for sure.
Edit: On second thought, you should probably get in line now, LeperKahn. Just go on their site and leave that on. Maybe they will take into consideration that you've been camping out for the ticket for the last two days and put you ahead of others in the queue, just like real life.

We highly recommend you create a free Battle.net account before ticket sales begin, if you haven’t done so already. Please make sure the payment information associated with the account is up-to-date by going to My Payment Options in Battle.net Account Management. Doing these things ahead of time will help speed up the purchasing process for you once tickets go on sale.
2) Entering the Queue
If a certain level of shopping activity has been reached on the Blizzard Store, you will enter a queue before you are able to check out and complete your purchase. The ticket queue allows controlled batches of visitors to smoothly purchase tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
On the days BlizzCon tickets go on sale, you will be able to initiate a ticket-purchase request from a special streamlined ticket-sales starting page, which will be linked from our websites and forums. From this starting page, you’ll be able to select the number of tickets you want to buy from a drop-down menu, and then click a button to immediately enter the ticket queue.
If you don’t encounter a queue, you will be able to purchase the tickets immediately.
3) In the Queue
Once you’ve entered the queue, you will be redirected to a page which displays an estimate of the time remaining until you reach the front of the queue, along with a meter showing the percentage of ticket stock remaining, updated in real-time. Simply wait at this page (do not close the window or refresh your browser!) until you reach the front of the queue. Please note that being in the queue does not guarantee that you will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket. The system will inform you if tickets sell out before you reach the front of the queue.
4) Finalizing Your Purchase
When your number is called, it’s time to buy those tickets! You will have 15 minutes to finalize all details before your session times out and you are removed from the queue, at which point you would need to begin the process again. If you are unsure of any attendee information now, don’t worry -- you won’t need to provide this information until after the ticket purchase is finalized.

What is the “Estimated Time Remaining” that I see while in the queue?
This tells you approximately how long you have before you reach checkout and are able to complete your purchase (if stock is still remaining). The estimate you see is based on a number of factors, including the average time of recent transactions. The actual time you spend in the queue may vary from this estimate.
What happens when I reach the front of the queue?
When you have reached the front of the queue, a message will be displayed prominently to alert you, along with a link to proceed to checkout and finalize your purchase. If you do not click the link immediately, you will be taken to checkout automatically after a few moments.
How long do I have to finalize my purchase?
Once you reach the front of the queue, you will have 15 minutes to finalize your purchase. I wonder if the Queue won't help at all because people are all gonna be jamming at 11:59am (assuming they go on sale at 12pm) with the F5 Hard shit to get into the queue in the first place and the site still crashes from all the traffic at once. Will be interesting.

There wasn't any limits posted regarding quantity. It just said that you select the amount of tickets that you want to buy and proceed with checkout.

Well for starters Anaheim and Orange county are one of the tourist capitals of the world. Blizz HQ is nearby in Irvine. The convention center is near a ton of other things like Disney land, Knott's berry farm, CA adventure, etc. Lots of people make a trip out of the whole thing, and visit all the other stuff too.
And why would they wanna do a huge convention in some bumfuck place in the middle of the US/CAN? That wouldn't even make sense.

They wont send you the beta key, it comes with the goodie bag. One key per ticket.
From the past, the beta key are just "next game in development" its not so random other than to guess its going to be D3 or the next WoW.

When you arrive at blizzcon they have lots of booths with letters for last names starting with Aa all lthe way to Zz. You stand it the proper booth and you pick up your bag, then they either get you a card and check your name off or they give you a slip or something and you go to another booth to get the card.
And if you don't bring your ID (and the credit card of purchase?) they won't give you your shit or your name tag to get in.
PS- I'm kind of pissed right now that it's 10 AM, I have to be to work at 10 AM, its now 1AM.. Also tomorrow is a sort of big day at work and I'm gonna be pissed if I get swarmed by customers or we have some fucking meeting as soon as I open (assuming that I get there on time/before time).

A note: I clicked "1", but you can change your quantity later. Changing your quantity before entering the queue adds to your clicking speed (and in some cases, about 5000~ people)

This is lame. I didn't think it would be that ridiculous. I refreshed at 9:59 and saw nothing, and then refreshed at 10:00 and was in 8,000 place. All I want to see is some live Korean SC . So you guys can confirm that even if you click on 1 ticket originally, you can change the number later? I want to buy 3 tickets but I don't want to lose half a second clicking it on the 30th, lol. Pretty sad, but it could seriously cost you 1000 places in the queue just by changing the number of tickets!
*BTW, if you buy more tickets than you need in order to make a profit then you're a bad person.

I was the same as well.
You can change the number later, which is one of the reasons why I think that tickets sold out so fast.

On the 30th TL members should all buy 5 tickets each and sell them to other TL members who weren't able to get them. This way we increase TL members and decrease the huge mass of WoW players that stink up the place.

I did that to an extent. Purchased three tickets, but putting anymore on my credit card would have been too much after putting the hotel/airfare on it too.

Pretty much, I remember last year you had to enter the ticket information at the time of purchase, which I figured was a move by Blizzard to stop scalping of tickets. When I saw the information on the Battle.net site, I was like "Holy shit, this just encourages scalping." Let me see if I can find the exact wording on the site.
"The full name of the attendee must be specified in the fields below. For each attendee, you will receive an e-mail containing a bar code to print out approximately one month before BlizzCon. Each attendee must print and present this bar-code email, along with valid photo ID matching the name on the bar-code email, to receive a badge at BlizzCon. If you are uncertain of the names of any additional guests, please enter your own name for each unknown attendee, and pick up all of the badges yourself. ***Note that a badge cannot be claimed at BlizzCon without photo ID matching the attendee name on the bar-code email!"

At Wcg finals we got a big room and split it with like 5-6 guys plus extras throughout the tourney made it much cheaper and it was a blast.Exept Inc throwing glasses at the sliding glass door.^_^

So you buy 5 tickets anyways and sell them to TL members first for little or no profit. Any left over sell for 500$ to WoW nerds.

It did the refresh thing to me. My friends and I all did it, so between the 3 of us we got our 3 tickets. I was in queue at 1000 but instead of buying 5 tickets to make a profit, I backed out because I'd rather have other people have an equal chance of getting tickets, since I already have mine. For what its worth, I had modified the following Firefox performance settings in about:config
New-> Integer "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" set value to 0
Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to 8
(the latter 3 probably don't affect blizzcon tickets page too much)
Disclaimer: your mileage may vary, may add instability. Don't play around if you don't know at least something about what you're doing
