I want to believe so, SO badly yet my hope is so little. Is this going to be a dedicated team of Omnis or an actual, real team of real developers and RTS players? The situation there was a shit fest, the idea Blizzard would even associate themselves with someone like that shows they do not care. Can someone who is smarter than me (everyone on this site) list some reasons to be hopeful that Blizzard got it together? My feeble brain sees no hope. | ||

LOL. guys.. you just do not understand the real meaning of the words "buy" and "own". what they really mean is that you give us money and we do whatever we feel like doing. i'd like a Global Conquest Map mode like C&C3 Kane's Wrath had. it'd be cool if Blizzard could create a community platform for such maps. Have individual creators make planets for this mode. | ||

Both times the key was to only polish the graphics, put in some QoL and be done with it. Minimal effort and maximal customer satisfaction. For Reforged, they wanted to really make it something new, in its original conception it was closer to a remake than a remastered, atleast in terms of the campaign. Aaaaand then they panicked, scratched most of it and ran out of time. And immediately after the disaster dropped onto people, they fired the entire team and restructured the whole thing for two years or whatever. Long story short: Pretty sure they learned from that. Why invest more and increase the odds of failure or do it very casual and close-nitted, when that seems to work pretty well. | ||
