Alright, here we go! Just like previous season recaps, I kept track of the Top 10 after every single bet results were inputted, so now we can see just how fierce the competition truly was. I hope you all enjoy going on this journey as much as I did while making it.

At the conclusion of WTL 2023 Summer Regular Season Round 1 Match 1, BASILISK took down ABYDOS and established our first #1, Elentos.

Elentos' time at the #1 spot was cut incredibly short. Platinum Heroes defeated Invictus Gaming and DarkPlasmaBall took the #1 spot.

DarkPlasmaBall's time at the #1 spot was also cut incredibly short. DKZ Gaming defeated PSISTORM Gaming and Seeker (The undisputed GOAT of all GOATs) took the #1 spot.

Solar advancing through their group allowed [PkF] Wire to dethrone him... T-T

Yet another dethroning by a GSL result! Both

Dark and

GuMiho advanced out of their Ro16 groups, and now our new #1 is micutzumargy.

Unfortunately, micutzumargy wasn't at the top for very long.

Bunny and

Classic advanced out of their Ro16 group, and Penev rose to the top.

Penev didn't stay at the top for very long either. BASILISK triumphed over DKZ Gaming and MajiN1 took over as the new #1.

MajiN1 was having a very impressive run. However, Team Liquid defeated Shopify Rebellion, and as a result, Penev managed to force a tie at the top with MajiN1.

Penev and MajiN1 were neck and neck for a very long time. But Berserker Esports took down Invictus Gaming and only Penev was the one that voted correctly. The tie was broken, and Penev took over as the only #1.

Penev's run was incredible. They stayed at the top for a long time and was just super dominant. However,

Dark and

Cure topping their Ro8 group allowed for an unexpected three-way tie between Penev, umelbumel, and Mizenhauer!

The three-way tie was insanely entertaining. There was no way to know who was going to come out on top. However, after ABYDOS destroyed DKZ Gaming, Mizenhauer became the sole person at the #1 spot!

What a final result! It really looked like Mizenhauer was going to take the championship. But Onsyde Gaming triumphed over BASILISK and Kerence came out of nowhere to win the whole thing!

And there we have it! Kerence believed in

Maru,

Ryung, and

Solar, and their faith came through! Onsyde Gaming won WTL, and Kerence won Liquibets. What an outcome!

What an amazing season for Kerence! They really know their stuff when it comes to SC2. Just an unbelievable run from someone who swooped in out of nowhere and won over everyone else.
