Maru would have had to play Dark either way, because he has been in the same group as herO.

It was definitely not a throw, but he played an unusual style. Fast triple CC, 2-port Raven, to me it seemed more like a mix between the aftermath of his covid infection and maybe hiding builds on the new maps.

That or Bunny beat him on the day. Do we have to be claiming players are throwing games with zero proof?

We know how Maru plays, it’s up to Zergs to break him, maybe he throws up a couple of sneaky timing attacks into a set.

I’d actually favour Maru the longer the set, Dark is trickier and more unpredictable in the matchup. In a Bo3 you only need your tricky play to come off once, and win one standard game.

Come Bo7 a few of your curveballs have to pay It’s off, and you’re likely to have to win at least a few standard games to boot.

If I’m Maru I way prefer the odds of sucking up a few games of potential misreads and grinding Dark down in a Bo7 than a Bo5 where the margins are thinner.
