No Rogue?
But I wont bet against herO. He may be the first one from ro36 group to survive until the playoff stage since IEM Katowice 2021.

This really sucks, not sure how ESL will replace the 2 slots as both players are qualified using China standing, it is impossible to pass the slots to other China player as the same visa issue will kind of just repeat again. Maybe combined standing will be used to replace the 2 slots instead. And then there is another issue on whether the group need to be reshuffle again.

since the deadline for replacing from standings has already passed the rules say the following: the best (according to global standings) of the RO36 players gets TIMEs Ro24 slot the ro36 becomes a ro34 (i.e. 2 BYE opponents)
(that all assumes that them not being able to attend gets confirmed^^
I never understood this obsession about Maxpax. The guy is super weird and I mean it in a bad way, very unlikeable, 0 social skills, no personality and well, just acts like a jerk from what I saw. Who cares how he looks like or what his issues are? If he does not want to be involved in the scene like a normal person thats his choice just leave him be.

Has this happened before, where SC2 players got refused of visa entry into a country? Wonder what the reason is, definitely not Covid-related because China still apply the "Zero Covid" policy within the country, right?

This is not the first time TIME got rejected for his Poland visa. Back in 2020, TIME was also got rejected for his visa application. Pretty sure there are other Russian who has to forfeit his IEM Ro76 spot few years ago.

It was the same at Kato 2020, Time and Cyan withdrew, it's a shame that they don't let them play from home, although I get why There were also some Korean that got denied from time to time back in the day I think.

Due to outbreak of Covid in China
Maybe it has to do with the vaccination they received not being recognized in EU
Right now the Chinese players managed to get in contact with ESL's CEO and ESL have sent a letter to Poland's Ministry of Foreign Affair. Hopefully this could help the Chinese players to resolve their visa issue.
