Group C seems pretty tough.
Skill is relative.

I would say 80% of the time the top 8 players are the first players from each group.
which would make for a pretty sick playoff bracket

Each of the groups seems to have 2 very clear favorites. The only players that I wouldn't be surprised to see pulling an upset are Neeb and ShoWTimE.

Huh, no Reynor, interesting. Also Clem v P group xD
I imagine France should be able to take this unless Lilbow is busy practicing for Starcraft III. | KadaverBB is my fairy ban mother.

I still don't get why the seeding isn't blocking two europeans in one group, when we have four europeans and four groups. I get that there need to be two groups with two koreans, but why the doubling with EU?

Season Finals groups always seem to play out as a "can Clem overcome TvP?" test :0
AdministratorHey HP can you redo everything youve ever done because i have a small complaint?

Yeah, none of these groups are close between the top 2 and bottom 2, but the players most likely to have an 'its an online tournament' day are probably Trap, Zest, and Maru
Zest, sOs, PartinG, Dark, and Maru are the real champs. ROOT_herO is overrated. Snute, Serral, and Scarlett are the foreigner GOATs

Well he clearly can looking at his results against top protosses in the world.

Most recent results, October 23rd he won 3-1 over Zest, and most recent October 27th he beat Trap 2-0.

Also if you look at his tournament history on liquipedia he is rarely ever knocked out by a Protoss, of almost all his losses in tournaments he gets knocked out by a Terran or a Zerg.

Go go Terran agenda hmm?

It's a dark scheme against him. I sense a power.... screw that, gotta find a high ground

So it appears I am not the one entertained by this

Except that in the last 5-6 premiere global tournament in 2021, Clem is knocked off by Protoss (Zoun in SAHSC, Zest in IEM, Trap in Last Chance, Neeb in DH Summer, Parting in DH Fall). Thats more than the number of time he lost to Terran and Zerg AFAIK.
And its not like Clem couldnt win TvP, we all know he is capable of doing that like you just showed. The question is can he do it when it mattered more, aka in bigger tournament.

Sorry what liquipedia are you reading?

Sorry I just must put this in perspective for people, 2020 / 2021 he played 10 premier tournaments, only two of these tournaments did he get knocked out by a protoss, he either won or lost to a Zerg or a Terran.

He played 8 Major tournaments 2020 / 2021 he never lost a single one of them to a Protoss and beat Showtime 4-1 in a Finals.

Minor tournaments or earlier than 2020 are irrelevant statistics for his TVP.

Pretty stacked groups overall -- wonder who will come out on top.

I mean we gotta favor Serral right? He's just looked unstoppable recently. Demolished both Clem and Trap convincingly. I guess ZvZ is his biggest vulnerability right now

Clem won their most recent series and I wouldn't call a 3-2 vs Trap demolishing. Trap absolutely could have won their SAHSC series with slightly cleaner play. He also lost 0-3 to Maru last time they played though Serral has obviously improved his ZvT recently.

I'm guessing you looked at his liquipedia page where only the tournaments are shown where he made it into the top 4.
He played a lot more tournaments then that. What tigera6 says is correct
