And After seeing the football world Cup Play(even with audience) and the Olympics with thousands of participate, I can see this happening 99% surely Just a bit sad for my Boy MaxPax. First ever offline event is World champs You can t expect much from him there with nerves and everything :/ | ||

Yeah from what we know from Israel so far people need a booster shot like half a year later for them to protect efficiently again, but super spreaders? Cmon... There are articles online about mass events like the Silverstone Formula 1 event in the UK that had like 350.000 visitors where only 585 infections could be linked to it - and I bet that's due to most visitors being vaccinated. Now on topic: Great news, I hope Covid won't get new setbacks from mutations until it so the event can go through without issues. I really wanna see some low ping games between Koreans and Europeans again! | ||

 Before covid-19 you could come and watch SC tournament even without tickets, there was a separate free-entrance area, you just needed to wait in queue. At least this is what I was told by ESL staff member (via their email info@intelextrememasters.com) back in 2018. If someone had an other not-very-contagious disease (not necessarily COVID) but coughed on dozens of other people's food hypothetically they could be a super-spreader, even though the disease itself and the person with it is not especially contagious. What's the point of all this? Behaviors matter. So maybe it's reasonable to imply that going to a live event when it may not be possible to enforce social distancing/masking is still not 100% safe. I want to watch live Starcraft too, but people need to know the risk while greatly reduced is not zero. That doesn't mean they should cancel the event or anything, just that people need to acknowledge that with the Delta variant, vaccination alone is not enough to prevent spread. People need to stay safe if they choose to go. All that said, vaccines work. They dramatically reduce the risk of both getting the disease and of transmitting it. | ||
