Hey folks! There’s been a few people asking about the specifics of the bracket for TSL 7, and I wanted to share an update on that and a few other things that we’ve been working on behind the scenes.
For the bracket, we will be seeding using EPT points, the day after DreamHack ends on June 6th. At the moment, the disparity between Korea and the rest of the world is inflated due to GSL, so we’re waiting until after DreamHack to have a more balanced seeding.
We’ve been hammering out the details with our sponsors, and finally have something to share! Just about all of our sponsors are contributing something to the TSL 7 stream:
Shopify returns once again as our title sponsor! On top of the neat in game mod Observer Plus battle report, their sponsorship has allowed us to have the premium broadcast production value of Esports Engine (ex MLG). We’ll also again be running True or False with TLO, plus a few more things we’re finalizing!
IMC Trading is a new one! We partnered with them earlier this year and one of their biggest asks was to be involved with TSL. Luckily, they came in at a great time for us. They’ve put up $1,000 to the winner of the fastest game in the tournament, have enabled us to produce some awesome highlights, and will be doing a poll here on TLNet for your favorite, fastest games of the event!
Secretlab also returns as a sponsor with the Hot Seat! This time around, we’re going to work on getting the audience more involved, and will be screening viewer questions to ask during the Hot Seat. If your question is chosen, you’ll be entered into a drawing to get a free Secretlab chair!
Last but not least, I’d like to officially welcome Olivia Wong to the Team Liquid family! If you’re not familiar with her work, she’s done some awesome things in SC2! She’ll be helping out on TSL 7, 8, and future events!
