The name reminds me of wrestling pay per views. Way over dramatic and not super accurate to what it actually is. I was excited about the idea of one or two last qualifying spots on the line. Oh well I'll still watch and have fun

Seems realy wired:

As the points from different regions are not realy compareable.
Those players would as of now be:
Dark (KR Rank 11): 1115 pts
Scarlett (NA Rank 3): 730pts
Nice (TW Rank 1): 702 pts
uThermal (EU Rank 6): 657 pts
Kelazhur (LA Rank 2): 423 pts
Probe (Oce Rank 1): 355 pts
Cyan (Ch Rank 2): 160 pts

Yah, it's 99.9999% Korea getting another spot unless someone from another region goes on an INSANE run at Last Chance, TSL6, and ASUS ROG online.

oh wait, Rogue has the direct seed from IEM Katowice, so KR's 10th place cutoff player is actually DongRaeGu at 915 points I think. Closer, but still hard for another region to take the spot.

Not to mention Stats and Zest may be forced to enlist.

okay, if you account for all that, you arrive at Armani as the winning player at 875 points.... which would get TaeJa to IEM

Still, if Scarlett can make up a 145 point gap (difficult, but DOABLE), she can get Future to IEM

There could also be a world, where Scarletts, Specials and Astreas GSL Points are added up towards their regional points, where Scarlett allready would be the player with most points. That would probably an even worse option, than what we re thinking about here right now, but someone brought that up to me, that that would as well be possible..

How should Teaja get the spot? He s place 32 in the Korean standing, no?
If we asume Special, Gabe and Showtime qualify for Ro24 through their home regions, the next player in the Korean standings is Bunny.
E.: Oh you were asuming, that Stats and Zest can t compete, because of military.

TaeJa has only 280 points and he hasn't even been playing recently.
Creator, Byun or even Lambo could qualify through korean standings at this point!

They have 227, 185 and 165 Points respectivly. So they would need between 54 to 115 points to surpass him. Not impossible, but not easy either. Still I agree with you, all 3 would be more deserving than Teaja, who hasn t done anything apart from qualifing for Code S this year.

For this to be the last chance tourney, already qualified players should not be playing surely. To make any sense it ought to be the players scrambling to get in duking it out tooth and nail for the last few spots.
