always the same time and time again (in an easy fashion) and what is tl bot saying: please dont blame imbalance cause there is no... but the results always tell a different story in PvT in these events. or as narutO or Special say: the 3 stands of zerg are free units, free units and free units!
#freeterran please next time!
You act like Classic and Trap shouldn't have beat fantasy or heromarine. Get a grip. As for Stats and Maru, Stats has consistently been able to beat Maru whatever the meta.

Nice to see SpeCial roll over him. Must've been a good weight off his shoulder.
Also Elazer beat Dark? That's something else, gonna have to catch up with vods. Suggestions? Hardly have time to watch those live :-(

It always seemed to me Reynor has a hard skill ceiling when going against really good players that are not zergs (especially koreans, and at this point I count Special as one). Betting on him in ZvZ and against in anything else is pretty much my goto strat
As for Elazer's victory, I'm about to go watch the VODs. I remember Dark slapping him around at Blizzcon, so dis gunn be gud!

It no longer makes sense to have region lock. The tournaments this year have clearly shown that there is no more skill gap between Korean and non-korean

Ty should have kept his proxy strategy. It is working well against Serral somehow.
Reynor is certainly not performing at his best. The way he used his infestors in game 3 is just painful to watch.

As much as I agree that region lock should be gone tournaments this year have not shown that there is no skill gap lol. IEM this year was one of the worst results for foreigners in a long time. ASUS Rog was pretty damn bad for foreigners too with a relatively weak korean lineup taking 6 spots in the ro8. Homestory cup was decent for foreigners but not great. Serral won it of course but besides that foreigners did mediocre. IIRC the only major foreigner victory besides Serral was Elazer beating Solar. In WESG the only series koreans lost were Meomaika vs Maru, and Serral vs Dark. Koreans are still a step above this was just a really good bracket for foreigners combined with Time peaking at a weird time and some ZvZ shenanigans in a 3-2 series and you get this result. I full expect Koreans to do very well at Blizzcon especially since it will be mostly Protoss there to represent the Koreans. ZvZ and Terrans in general seem to be where Koreans are most vulnerable right now.

I asked TY a few days ago if he was preparing hard for Serral. He said he was working on a bunch of diverse strats. Very sad he lost, but Serral was just too good. TY's mineral wall push was delicious to watch and shame it didn't work.
Well done to Juan. Man he brought the goods!
I feel like the 2019 iteration of the Four Horseman of T would be Maru, TY, TIME and Special. That's incredible.
FanTaSy actually played really well but made some bad errors at times killed it. The Tempest rush against Maru at the GSL was disgusting back then and still is now.
Heromarine gets a lot of shade but he wasn't bad. Shame he didn't get to "fart" on Trap as promised

TIME gave Serral a real good run for his money at ASUS Rog just weeks ago with a close 2-3 loss.
Had those really crisp series of pushes in Game 1 worked out it could have been a 3-0 win against him.
Some feel Serral was lucky to have won that match against TIME.

This is exactly why Serral would prepare much better for TIME should they meet at this event, he had no reason to do so at ROG because that was the first time TIME showed such a high level of play. TIME is good but still not good enough to take on a fully prepared Serral.

Tempests + battery rush is such a horrible design exploit and is just plain stupid to watch or to play against. Very disappointing game to end that series. Classic should've been 3-0'd. fantasy fucked up his rush by not clicking any of 4 SCVs onto the bunker that needed to be finished even when he had a huge window to do so. he misclicked his SCVs repeatedly. it was his entire strategy and he tanked it with a micro error that a gold leaguer could have avoided. he also made several other similar micro/tactical mistakes. he went for a drilling claw drop in a random direction knowing phoenix were already out. these were simply stupid errors.
proxy tempest is a silly build, but "classic should have been 3-0ed" is an absurd takeaway. fantasy was the worst korean in the round and played the worst.

To think that this player has desperately need our vote in favor of Innovation, just because he wished to play as his last tournament in his life.

It's probably due to having two weeks to prepare for the match, but in those conditions I don't see TIME taking a game, Serral is too smart and TIME is to predictable.

Serral is so so good it's scary
i <3 him

literally 2 weeks ago in the ASUS tournament korea smashed the world players while missing Maru, Dark and Classic and TY.
Blizzcon same thing, Katowice same thing. Only Serral could beat them until this tourney

It's funny how Tasteless talked about how all Koreans were mad and this news was the 1st issue in Korea when Serral won last year GvsW.
But the true fact in Korea is that there was not even a single news article about GvsW final after 1 hour of Serral vs Stats. And most of ppl in Korea didnt even realize there was GvsW going on in sc2. xDDDD Even those small group of sc2 community in Korea only congratulated Serral's victory, and nobody seemed mad about foreigner's victory in Korea. (In fact, I only saw foreigners were the only ones getting mad whenever Koreans dominate in the past)
I wonder why Tasteless wants to make up wrong information about Korea all the time recently. Maybe cuz he's stressed out whenever Korea won over the past years? But come on, how can he spread made up wrong information in front of his audiences because of his emotions? I thought he is a professional caster.

At first i thought Serral was a really good and exceptionally talented player, now i realize the whole ''highest skill era'' propaganda is the biggest lie SC2 fans tell themselves, and that Korea in 2019 is weaker than Europe or NA in 2014.

Can you keep your composure after writing this? Or you are just laughing out loud at how trollish it is?
