From iNcontroL’s Twitter: To offer some solace in this time of grief: We've learned that Geoff passed quickly and painlessly from a blood clot in his lungs. He was with friends. He always urged and led us by example to take care of ourselves to the best of our ability. Remember to do that for him today. | ||

This is terrible. I'm actually at a loss right now. This was totally unexpected, because he was right as rain not a few weeks ago. Condolences to his friends and family. | ||

I also just want to say, all of you personalities are precious to us, there are a lot of listeners and viewers out there who don't participate in the internet faff, we just quietly enjoy the work you do. Geoff was one of those personalities who were a bit abrasive, but a lot of the quiet majority (including myself) really enjoyed and appreciated his work and the off-beat hilarity mixed with professionalism that he always brought to the table. Lets be good to our Starcraft personalities, yeah? | ||

As much as Geoff and I had different in game personalities, I have always been someone who gives credit to people who do things for the betterment of the scene. This went without saying for TB, but Geoff similarly had a unqiue and long standing position in our community as someone we could all relate to. I really can't believe this news. This is a huge loss for our community and as shown by the out pouring of love, I really hope we can come together to respect what a pleasure and honestly hilarious guy we were able to have with us. RIP fellow protoss brother, gonna miss your commentary. Edit: As bisudagger posted would be nice to see blizzard run something in his honor, as with TB - given some time of course fuck my coworker came over and i realized im almost trying not try tear up, odd for someone i didn't really get along with hahaha | ||

But this? This isn't fair. Geoff didn't deserve such an ending. I remember him back all the way in the early EG days, his slow change from player to caster and his most recent outings for sc2 such as the pylon show. The passion, the bravado, the charm.... I sometimes nodded off to sleep watching WCS events on my phone last year with Geoff's voice still ringing in my head. Having this gut punch come right out of nowhere completely has messed me up big time. To infinity and beyond, Geoff. To infinity and beyond. | ||

Makes me so sad, condolences to his family and friends. Condolences to his second family, you know who you are. I'm so sorry guys. Condolences to the entire community for losing such an important and great person. Feels surreal, i can't really believe it. You've given us so many great memories, thank you. Rest in peace Geoff. | ||
