Geoff 'iNcontroL' Robinson has passed away - Page 40

| From iNcontroL’s Twitter: To offer some solace in this time of grief: We've learned that Geoff passed quickly and painlessly from a blood clot in his lungs. He was with friends. He always urged and led us by example to take care of ourselves to the best of our ability. Remember to do that for him today. | ||

Deaths are so hard to grasp, it feels like I don't really register them fully in the moment they are happening. I just know that everytime I will tune into HSC this will hit me again. I bet he would be so fucking proud if he would see all the messages written about him right now! You lived your dream and helped others live it too, not many that can say that. Thanks for everything.

And im sure all the love he shared will go on on each person that was touched by it... that's what im choosing to focus on, and that's what i'm thankful for! Rest in peace, Incontrol! A lot of love from Rio de Janeiro! Rômulo.

Have been following Starcraft 2 from the start and Incontrol has been one of the main characters of that story the whole way. First as a player, but mostly as a caster and a friendly guy who I would have had pleasure to get known to. I had planned many years now to get to Homestorycup and one of the highlights I have always wanted to experience was to actually finally meet him and just chat and have a beer. Now that plan is ruined forever . I think he was the heart and soul of HSC. Last HSC really didnt feel right when he wasnt there. Man it will be hard to watch it from now on too. He was one of the flagships of SC2 scene and damn that he left far too soon. I will miss him dearly, altough I really never knew him personally. That tells you something. However I see here that I am not alone, which maybe comforts a little too. RIP Geoff, Ill have a beer with you when we meet.
