From iNcontroL’s Twitter: To offer some solace in this time of grief: We've learned that Geoff passed quickly and painlessly from a blood clot in his lungs. He was with friends. He always urged and led us by example to take care of ourselves to the best of our ability. Remember to do that for him today. | ||

I know him and me never met face-to-face and never really agreed on anything 100%, but I do remember one post where he made me feel better as a guy who grew up in Oklahoma. There was some thread or another on teamliquid that brought up the tornadoes in Oklahoma in 2013. Some guy posted that all Americans deserved it because of something completely unrelated. Before that guy got banned Geoff chimed in and said, "Good bye." certainly made me appreciate him more as a guy who grew up in Oklahoma, and when I was at the University of Oklhoma, felt really really close to getting hit by one of those twisters. Next day I was driving around and saw the destruction. Hate speech doesn't help. | ||
