Seems zerg is the prefered race to play against for Classic and Maru at least. Nice they show some respect for Scarlett, that they rather play Armani and True. Group E is crazy stacked, want to cheer for Fantasy but its so hard with both Rogue and Stats in same group.
Group A: Should be the two Terrans advancing, Armani is just dead in his first Code S after military, one can never count out Patience though, especially when it comes to ruining Liquibets.
Group B: Most likely GuMiho joined by one of Zest/Impact with another entry into their great rivalry. Trust actually has a chance here too, surprisingly.
Group C: Should be Classic and Solar, but you can never really rely on Solar. Hurricane is in good shape, but I don't expect much from TRUE. But TRUE is a bit of a wildcard like Patience so he could cause some trouble.
Group D: Very strange group. Dear and soO are favored but they both start with their weak match-ups so counting out the other players would be a mistake. Especially Creator has a real opportunity on his hands.
Group E: I think all 4 of these players could put up a fight in the Ro16. The most likely outcome is of course the most boring Stats/Rogue (in some order) combination. But this is definitely one of the more exciting groups on paper, well worth watching.
Group F: Scarlett gonna meet a few old friends here in KeeN and herO who can take the credit for some of her wilder GSL exits. I'd favor Trap/herO to get out, but it's a close enough group all around.
Group G: Fight for 2nd place between Cure and PartinG I suppose. Dark is the only player in this group where it would surprise anyone if he wasn't in the Ro16. Will be nice to see DRG again now that he's back from military but I really don't expect anything.
Group H: Should definitely be TY and sOs in some order. Things could get awkward for TY though. He usually does poorly against sOs, and facing SpeCial in a deciding match would be tricky since they share builds. RagnaroK doing well would make me happy but I think 3rd place is the best he can manage here.
FanTaSy, Ragnarok and the foreigners got seeded in hard groups; on the other hand, Solar should be able to make and the BIGG BOI seems favored over Cure at the moment.
Group H is a nightmare to predict, I'm also looking forward A, E and F.

Patience has some pretty bizarre cosmic entities on his side that cause random shit to happen in every match he plays honestly. If he beats Patience the first time though, he can definitely beat Maru.

After watching a couple of his TvPs i suspect he might just lose to Patience twice (or lose to Maru and Patience) or something along those lines.
I don't think Inno will lose to Maru in a TvT. But I can see him losing to Patience.
Maybe Maru is gonna prepare TvT really hard and suddenly battle mech in every match-up.

Never bet against Patience. But also never bet on Patience.
That group E :D Rogue is 90 percent out with his current poor form. I dont think he can beat any of those players. The rest of the groups have clear 2 favorites except G and F which seem kinda weak and only have Dark/Trap as top players on paper.

He's been back for a little while. He played in one of the smaller team leagues with top players a few months back. He's definitely a solid player, not surprised that he qualified finally, but I would say that he's one of the weakest in this Ro32.
Calling that Maru is gonna lose in 3rd place. He never practices hard enough for a ro32 to beat Patience or INno imo.
The reason he usually gets out is because he's against weak opponents. He consistently almost loses to guys like Zanster/Leenock/Ragnarok etc. It still works against them but I have doubts here

Maru just demolished Patience today in the Teamleague. He made him look 2 leagues below him. Even used that Cyclone Hellion troll strat in game 1. In 2nd game he just ROFLstomped him with an easy tank push.
I am more worried about Inno he is having trouble with TvP lately.
Either way its 1st or 2nd place (if he meets Inno) for Maru easily.

There's one player I will never count out for an upset, and it's Patience. Calling it now, he advances in first and then Maru loses to Inno in the decider.

Inno is actually favored to take 1st place in this group. Armani is too easy for him, Patience is under his level.. and Inno TvT is > Marus TvT.. remember Wesg 1 month ago.. inno beat Maru quite convincingly
Is this not a dream? In 2013 I had a night dream where I got into GSL as "aths_rookie" and talked with DRG about my upcoming match versus MC. I also dreamed part of the match, and when waking up it still took time to realize the full dream was not real. Never talked with DRG. (And never participated to anything related to GSL.)

after recent weeks, Maru prob practices a lot against proxys. feels like 90% of his losses came that way. but yeah.. it can def happen again.
Bit worried for Inno in terms of making Blizzcon. He's rank like 20 something in points and I don't know why but he looks so weak in ro16 all the time.
Patience actually put up a decent fight vs Maru in the latest round of Chinese team league. It's an online match but did show he's been practicing hard.

Group H is a monster for sure, along with B. Group G and less so D are weaker than the rest. Group F is the most open with only a small difference between herO, Scarlett and Trap, and the smallest spread of group ratings with the inclusion of KeeN.
Amazing depth in this Ro32, almost every top 25 Korean in the field.

I'm surprised not many people have voted or Group C given Classic and Hurricane's recent performance at the Super Tournament. Not to mention Solar usually does pretty well in the ro32.
