Don't you think the whole OP just waste TL community's time?
I don't want to talk about laws as Ive talked with other just if this is true(which I believe it is and the reason that I given) it is very bad behaviours and could ruin his career but if this is not true Time definitely is the only victim

Never used a slur word while talking to friends? is your point that because this isn't the first time someone is saying horrible shit we should just shrug it off ? Is his point wrong? The most you can and should do about it is just make a mental note not to make friends with TIME, but i doubt one would want to do so in the first place. What's the argument? Is it that because "most you can do ... is just make a mental note", we shouldn't discuss a person acting inappropriately? I don't think that holds. We sure as hell can do much more than just make a mental note. We can, for example, say that we think that what he did was inappropriate and ask that he explain himself. Sound familiar from kindergarten?
I dunno about your kindergartens but stuff you describe we, in our kindergartens, considered childish. Nobody owes anyone anything for their private opinions, and yes, "say that we think what he did was inappropriate" is exactly "making a mental note' i am talking about.

You *think* based on the screenshot. is that the answer to "Are you 100% sure the chat speech were from Time"?
If Time really said those and got leaked, he should apologize. But the whole premise itself is controversial. Let's do not waste our time any more.

Don't compare this chinese 20yo SC2 player with the USA president please. It has nothing to do with that. Both can be talking shit about women and being misogynists, and still the situations are completely different.

I don’t see why posters like yuisaka and William paradise who call for apologies, punishment, and widespread reform based on a single person’s private conversation are so personally invested. His comments are distasteful, but they don’t bring harm to anyone beyond causing them to be offended, which isn’t a terrible crime. You certainly aren’t victims, and getting outraged on others’ behalf is so unnecessary.

LoL, the problem here is it is a private conversation that is being posted publicly. I agree that it is rude and radical and disrespectful, in private conversation between friends, I will add f**k, sh*t even without notice (sorry for being a rude person T-T), but it is only limited to the very close friend. when we are talking with public or strangers we will focus more on what we say and what they mean.

As far as I'm concerned, how insensitive your expressions are allowed to be depends mostly (if not solely) on the preferences of the people you reach with your message. When speaking in public, you are reaching far more people (when expressing yourself on the internet even most people on this planet) - with varying tastes and acceptance levels of insensitive comments - than when you have a private conversation. So naturally, you have to be more considerate with your speech in public.
The comments supposedly made by TIME were apparently made in private. As long as the person TIME was speaking to didn’t mind the comments, there is not much for us to be upset about. And if the person TIME was speaking to did mind the comments to the point of being offended, then I still see no reason for why that matters to us. We were not part of this conversation and the message was not meant for us.
The only reason to care would be if these comments laid bare a specific character trait of TIME that you think lowly of. If for instance you believe that TIME didn’t just say racist things, but actually holds racist beliefs, then I can understand why someone not part of the conversation would hold these comments against him. Personally though, I’m not convinced these comments reveal anything about the character of TIME. At least not to me, as I don’t know TIME on a personal level and therefor have no idea how to judge these comments. Offensive comments can be made in earnest, but also in jest or out of emotion. Do we really know which is the case here? I certainly don’t.

We have all said terrible things in the ignorance of our youth. And still do too. While he should be careful how he words things that can go public, I just see this as a young man mouthing off. It happens and we shouldn't prosecute him. Probably just sound advice on how to act from those involved in his life would do him best.

Yeah, this is a totally private conversation, the guy post it is the worst one.Time should learn a lesson, not be banned.NOT LEGAL

I'm annoyed at people who think this thread should be closed or we shouldn't talk about this or we're SJW white knights or whatever nonsense. Basically people should shut up to protect TIME is what some people here seem to think.
It's normal in most occupations to have some fuck-ups that lead to losing your job.
I'm not saying TIME should be banned or fired, but he should consider it part of his job to not let shit like this leak.

Misleading translations.
the post of Weibo just means that "ooops ,@newbee, he's not a cute boy~"
although Time's words made some people feel uncomfortable, but basicly he just chose wrong words and driven by anger.
He's not a perfect, but as I know, he is a good teenager, and almost all the chinese starcraft fans like him, not just because of his game skills.
He have lots of korean friends, just like TY Soo Parting.... also have good relationship with Scarlett and Special, he's not a racist or a female hater, which is highlighted by some acconts and tried to use it attack him.
I believe some other shits was involved. Competitions of game and commerce are not always clean.
Considering of his age, this is a big mistake but it's not unforgivable.
And it's a lesson, as the best SC2 pro player of China, Time should take care of his behavior much more.

so to the OP, fuck you for thinking i wanted to read this shit. no, i didnt. and mods, wtf? question if I say a racist joke but its private and I am a public figure to you want to know that I make racist jokes? no. that shit is for gossip rags. whether TIME is a racist or a sexist or an angel, it has nothing to do with me watching him play starcraft. i'd watch a murderer play starcraft. i dont care. the two have nothing to do with each other this is an sc2 forum, not a gossip forum. if you care about personal lives of starcraft players then discuss it somewhere else if they did something socially unacceptable, then take it up with other people enforcing social justice. there are a ton of communities interested in enforcing social justice on gamers. this is not one of them if they did something illegal, then let the justice system take care of it it has nothing to do with sc2 he is a professional gamer and in a team, from SC2. if an actor did/say something racist at this level, I have no reason to doubt he/she would be punished, by sponsors or agent. I don't care if what was said happened in private or public time. I expect the same here in SC2 scene. Anyone from China can see that this is very misleading translation. Someone know they cant ruin TIME in China so they try to ruin his career oversea. After there's a Chinese Team League upcoming and killing TIME, the best player in China, may be the right way to ruin the League the translation is quite on point. 那照你这样说生气的时候在朋友面前骂两句操你妈也该被惩罚 带网友你来辣 English only site.
