I wouldn't be surprised if there were some overlap between "people who unironically like avilo's stream" and "people who have been banned for balance whine", for instance.  Also you are assuming stream viewers watch a stream because they like it, or because they like the person streaming. The reality is unfortunately a little more counter-intuitive; there are people who watch just to get mad and yell at the TV, as well as there are people who treat it like going to the zoo or "looking at the village idiot and throwing peanuts at him" to borrow TotalBiscuit's apt description of this exact situation. Think about it, there are people who watch The Room and Birdemic just to laugh at how bad they are. | ||

Of course there are better players but I watch stream for entertainment. And he is much more entertaining than 99% of the pro players. And I actually learn things from watching his Stream, I can copy some of his playstyle while it is useless trying to copy Innovation since I will never have the APM necessary to emulate how he plays. | ||

Avilo does have every right to try to enter, but I cant help but think he's being selfish here, putting himself over his country. All of this business just reeks of being desperate for attention, its all about Avilo once again... the personality & himself & not about the game or Team America, which imo is what it should be about. And I'm sorry to say but if the admins at Nation Wars have proof that people are cheating to get Avilo voted in then by all means he should be disqualified from participating in it. Just my 2 cents | ||

When it comes to avilo, he is the "villain". He regularly streams, he is popular. Even his haters can't help but watch him. Avilo is interesting and offers a level of entertainment that 99.99% of NA players lack. This entire thing smells like misdirection. Point the finger at someone else while faking a ton of votes for jon snow. | ||
