Considerable segments of Reddit just really dislike Avilo, but as he himself says, "when you fight monsters don't become a monster yourself", sadly as stated in the copy/paste by users, the very reason why Avilo has gotten to his current position is thanks to the botting, even when he himself fights against it as shown in the logs, he's also benefiting from it.
Also, everybody has been getting quite hot headed from the NationWars poll, please try to keep it chill guise.
I have been seeing the rather extreme dislike of avilo, and it is pretty jarring. And honest to god? It wouldnt surprise me at all if people who just "hate" avilo were doing the same, or very, very similar thing :/

This isn't actual proof of anything. This is just people claiming they are doing it. You need proof. Also, tons of people are voting for avilo just because they want to see him compete in a large event. Some people are just voting for avilo to piss other people off too. Lastly, I suspect if what you are saying was true, he would have already been in the #1 spot a long time ago.

Avilo was NEVER in first place. I've been monitoring this poll on average 6-8 times a day. Neeb has always been in the lead since day 1.
Next time you want to make claims, POST REAL EVIDENCE showing someone actually doing it, otherwise you are just starting a rumor. Whole thing smells like malarky. I wouldn't be surprised if you were the person in chat claiming to do it LOL.

You can dislike Avilo for his behaviour or smth, but he is actually the only Terran from USA who got unique & consistent playstyle and is very well known for the community. I mean its cool that u guys vote for Neeb (best toss NA) but I would rather see some mech games instead of another zvz bullshiet, even though he could lose games quickly (but who knows? maybe he survive to late game and rekt some big names), it will be far more entertaining to watch.

Yeah, but this isn't reddit. TL usually has pretty reasonable rules about this stuff. There is no other purpose of this thread than to witch hunt Avilo's current standing in Nation Wars. I don't like Avilo, but this thread really shouldn't be open. Even based off whatever chat logs these are, it's obvious Avilo wouldn't be in favor of such a thing.

I think the thread is fine, changes in process dont usually happen unless there is a concern from the community involved. Educating everyone about the flaws of the voting system is important so you can make the decision to contact them directly. Awareness is good

I don't doubt that there's been a lot of cheating in Nation Wars polling particularly around the USA polling which has been the most controversial, and sure avilo's chat might have done so in a systemic manner, but what can you do about it? Unless the organizers already took measures (and even then) there isn't anything to so except live with the results and consider something different in the future.

I've been monitoring this poll on average 6-8 times a day. Neeb has always been in the lead since day 1. Next time you want to make claims, POST REAL EVIDENCE showing someone actually doing it, otherwise you are just starting a rumor. Whole thing smells like malarky. Doesnt prove anything. People can say whatever they want in twitch chat. So if I make an account and log in another streamers chat and claim I am botting his poll too will it also be investigated.
