Best of luck to you Seed!
Side note: am I the only one who feels really sad to see more and more KR progamers leaving to military or retire? No new bloods and old bloods keeps leaving.
|
I still remember having humorous discussions with Seed on his Twitch stream during his time on Dignitas. Adios and good luck.

It's inevitable at this point. But on the upside Squirtle is back & MMA should return in October. So it's not all doom & gloom.

He played Terran?

I'll never forget the hallucinated immortal vs Hyperdub. Or the Busan finals vs MC. Seed was a legend.

I never read that tweet until now. Come to think of it... it's actually some what true. Even in BW I don't think any Protoss players were found to be match fixing.
I'll never forget Seed's somewhat crazy run to become GSL champ. The guy fought back from so many deficits in boX matches to eventually take MC down in the finals.

Squirtle returns, Seed goes, such is the circle of StarCraft.

How many years do they have to be in the military? And do any former players plan on returning afterwards?

I still remember when he made his debut in GSTL February 2011. He randomly wrecked face and there was SO much hype for him. It was literally months before we ever saw him again D:
Farewell, champion!

Ayy someone else who was around for the first few GSTLs!
Yeah Seed was a badass back in the day. Shame he hasn't been up to much lately; hopefully when he comes back after his service he will feel reinvigorated to own some nerds again.

Don't watch SCII anymore so I dunno what he's done since WoL but his GSL finals win over MC was one of the few finals I watched live. He somewhat disappeared after that lol. Good luck to him!

Still remember his GSL final vs MC. Nobody believed he would defeat the BossToss in a PvP. That warp-prism 4-gate was simple unbelivable... good'ol times. Wish him all luck in the future.

The Illusion Toss!!! Thank you, Seed! I will never forget your inspiring performance in GSL in summer 2012! A real peace of art and creativity which is why we play and love the Protoss! The rivalry matches agains Symbol was the most epic thing during that time of the GSL schedule. The smart warp-prism possitioning, motherships black holes and mass recalls, unlike anyone else in that season while other tosses prefered other strategies. And of course I remember your inspiring interview after you got the trophy in Busan and acted like a real adult with a clear aim why he is doing all of this. It is not just only about the money or just to say the usual and boring stuff for the fans. But it is because we love playing Starcraft and should continue duing it.

It was what, 3-1? Something like an hour or a bit more? Feels like ages ago.

I would not really mind seeing "old" players leaving and being replaced by new young players. The problem is that there aren't really any new big tallent in Korea from what I have seen. The GSL/SSL players are the same since several years.
