Just curious on why this post got a warning while the two posts above it are fine?

One of the big reasons probably is that it is the account's first post.

You can get away with stuff like that if you've been here for a while and are known to contribute aside from player bashing but as a first post it's not a good sign.

I don't think calling someone a moron is ever an acceptable thing.

But telling someone to literally 'fuck off' is? I smell double standards, moron isn't nowhere near the f-word IMO. Also, how are new posters supposed to know it's just okay to say sth. rude/offensive when you got more posts? Shouldn't guidelines apply to everyone equally? Just saying that moderating that post probably wasn't a brilliant move to begin with.

6. Respect forum veterans.

All other things being equal, we will give preferential treatment to site members who have been with us longer. This doesn't mean they get to do whatever they want, but they do get the benefit of the doubt. The same goes for "known" professional players or personalities. If we know you and you've been around and contributed, you are much less likely to have your posts or account moderated.

In practice, this policy means a user who has thousands of posts can get away with breaking a few minor rules with just a warning while a new user might be banned. Is this unfair? Probably. But that's how it works here, longevity and contribution are rewarded.

And how is that a bad thing?
Except in particular cases (when there is a competition on the top of the ladder for WCS qualification for example), if you are just stream sniping, not stream hacking, and aren't harassing the player (by doing it multiple times, or making fun of him like a lot of people probably do to avilo or so I heard), it is imo perfectly fine to "snipe" a better player in order to progress (or a caster if you like him or whatever, as long as you aren't harassing the player).

Since all other things about Revolver were bad things, it seemed like you talked about stream hacking/cheating, and the confusion is problematic since both sound similar, yet one can be pretty innocent while the other one is afaik a bad thing however you look at it.

The problem here is how people are caught. Revolver is a known stream cheater + caster etc. nobody did anything about it for so long, I mean for years. I guess he must have been reported earlier. Generally it appears Blizzard does not have anyone that really cares about this, until the shit hits the fan.

I personally think the first one above it was a bit funny tbh, more like a joke than an actual insult to Russians.

Why did Revolver think that it would be ok if "a caster" asks for the matchfix?

what kind of question is this?
Maybe you are naive, nbd... MEthinks that he's impersonating somebody else as an out...

IIRC Revolver is both a caster in Russian and a high level player on the ladder. I remember him casting some tournaments I casted previously.

Rubbish it's hard because of the money. That just means your weak willed. Kudos though to whoever turned down the match fix. Strong is strong

When I worked at DH Sthlm (2014) Revolver caused some minor drama.
He had bought tickets for DH Winter - not realising the difference between DH winter and DH Stockholm.
When he was told his tickets where not valid (the check-in person had no idea who this guy way) he got quite aggressive and behaved quite bad. Striked me as a person I'd never have a drink with.

The "do you know who I am - I am a very important person"-attitude did not really suite him around player like Solar, JD, MMA, soO and others....
