Loving that first match! Not a single mirror and the players seem about as evenly paired as you could make them. Obviously kt has the better top players right now, but anything could happen in any of the games.
Also just wanted to say I have the rare anti team mirror match this week. Bunny and Curious against each other.

Dark lost 2 games last week so probably wants a little break. aLive had Code A & SSL this week (and went through both), Rogue had SSL so they could use breaks. Idk why they benched Ryung though.
Both of KT's matches look super winnable so I'm sure they'll find a way to mess it up. But overall this looks like a pretty good week for Proleague.

You realize he had practically no time to prepare for a Proleague match this week, right? I can see why the coach would rather give him a break than field someone who didn't have time to prepare for the preparation-based format. If this was all-kill there's no question we'd see aLive at some point. But with this? I think it's fine to give the others a chance. Especially since Patience and Super are both in quite good form and Bomber is looking decent.

I mean aLive has tons of strategies for each map anyway, his practice for the dual leagues is also helpful for proleague. But I guess giving the others some playtime is good, since they have less tournaments to play in.

Inno hasn't made it farther than the Ro16 in SSL or Code A in GSL this year. Including losses to Stork, Ragnarok, and Jjakji.

Poor zerg. We really need more of them to raise their skill level. I'm looking at you solar, byul, and rogue! When only terran and protoss have fair numbers of top level players we get imbalanced lineups like this. Still should be incredible games, I just want to see more good zerg (remember when soulkey was skt's ace?).

I don't think the zergs just magically lost all their skill overnight.. Even Dark losing to inferior terran/toss recently. Only Life could overcome this current meta balance.
