It's shocking right? It's like when a monolithic organization thats completely detached from the day to day's of running tournaments, have little incentive to create a practical structure, and literally no knowledge at all on how to do it, they tend to do poorly. We should consider ourselves fortunate blizzard merely destroyed the scene utterly, 5-6 years in, as opposed to right away. They always said they intended to use state granted arbitrary authority (copy right etc) to run the scene. Those years they largely only destroyed the game through inept design and balancing was a damn grace from God.

A little bad translation. I read the interview before and did not have the impression that drg said he was doomed, a little unfortunate however. The reason why drg seems sad is that he realized this alittle too late due to late introduction to 2016 wcs rules by blizz amd theredore he is confused to say the least.
