All 6 wrong predictions were legit and could have easily been correct. I mean, every series in GSL went to game 5 and MyuNgSiK, herO and INnoVation weren't exactly underdogs either.

The true reason is that TL writers are cursed.

Did you actually read the article (the reasoning and the arguments) or did you just look at the predictions? For both herO/Hurricane and soO/INno it basically says 50:50 - if I could have I actually wouldn't even have picked a winner, because the players were so close. Stats are still not reliable and the game is not stable. You should put more attention on the reasoning, not at the bare numbers of the predictions.

And yeah, also we are cursed. :D

How are you doing on liquibets?

I'm doing ok, place 16 atm. I did the liquibets as soon as it was online, so i only had 2/4 in liquibets :/ (i guess i should wait a little longer to make better predictions ^^)

not to mention it's the start of a new game with a turbulent meta, and we don't actually know who the top players are yet.

makes me giggle that most people were literally just assuming all the best SC HOTS players would be exactly as good at the beginning of LOTV and that no one would be stronger or weaker. seemed obvious to me ever since LOTV was announced

but i guess some people can't handle ideas more complex than "if innovation loses a map then balance is broken"
