How is that retirement a surprise or telling for the state of SC2? Compared to his past successes, Fantasy has been one of the least successful players for years. How much longer should he try to break through? Till he´s thirty? The man´s gotta think of his future, not because SC2 or esports has no future, but because he has none in it. We don´t know if anybody will ever have, esports is too young to tell whether a life-time career is even possible. People just have to accept that pro-gaming in general is a thing you do while you´re young, like so many other sports, too. And then, some earlier, some later, you have to change your priorities, get a degree, get a job, build a future. And then new kids come around to take their places. There´s no shame in that. So, instead of drooling of dead-game-prophecies and SC2-BW-dick-comparisons people should wish him the best and enjoy the games of the next generation of Flashs and Rains. | ||

And for those who whine about the WCS system, Blizz has changed it every single year since 2012.....if something's wrong with this system, I suspect they'll change it as well. I imagine the region lock is to foster growth in the foreign scene. Cause right now, it's tough getting into the foreign scene knowing that there is not the system in place like it is in Korea. | ||

We also know KeSPA cup will be at some point. | ||
