Obesity and diabetes are associated with clogged arteries. A lot of people with those conditions drink sugary beverages. But there's no direct connection between sugar and clogged arteries and certainly not one so extreme that when you see a metaphor comparing someone to a coke that you'd think it's trying to say that they're a risk factor for cardiovascular disease. I encourage you to do the exercise yourself if you have a Christmas tree. I look forward to seeing some other submissions!  | ||
