YoDa, B4, Gerrard arrested for match-fixing - Page 45
Forum Index > SC2 General |
Based on the official Police investigation, only the above players have been implicated in matchfixing. There is no reason to further accuse other players and teams until we get more information. Incessant blind accusations will not be tolerated. Please read the thread and the updates before posting. As of page 54 we will be moderating against match fixing accusations for players who were not caught in this incident, including those using voided Pinnacle bets as evidence.

![]() Before we got the FXO sponsor, I invested so much into living expenses. After FXO decided to no longer sponsor us, the first thing I worried about was not the money that had been spent but my players' futures. These guys believed in me for three years and went through so much. When I asked them what we should do now that we would no longer have FXO as a sponsor, they told me that they would much rather see the team disband than see me spend any more money for their sake. So we decided to disband but even then I didn't even think about what I had to do from there on out, but rather I cared more about getting my players to new teams and finishing things off at the team house. I even stayed an extra month at the team house to ensure everything was taken care of properly. Every eSF head coach that saw his team disband probably went through similar situations. The only teams that ended up surviving were MVP and IM. How can a person who calls himself a head coach that didn't pay his players a salary for four years while Prime was operational, all of a sudden think it's okay to get his players involved in match-fixing just because he found himself in too much debt? Does that make sense? As it turns out, it wasn't just baseless accusations floating around that Prime was match-fixing, since the head coach himself was behind it all... I don't know how much you made off of this scandal but I hope to never see you again. I hope you waste away all that money earned through another position. Because of all that's happened today, I'm going to shut off my phone and just go get drunk (spits).

If the shoes fit man, I'm talking about the people who are still accusing MKP with such a thing even though everything has came to light. Could we just please stay on topic and not wrongfully accusing someone else who is clearly not involved after all the reports that came out? Why are we just still attacking someone who was found innocent after all the investigations? Just please stop with the finger pointing, it's not doing anyone any good.

Second I think E sport industry in general are over reacting "with ban for life", even Olympic committee or FIFA do not ban their players for life. I think ban for year and financial fee is enough. They will have this scandal for their entire life.

Some of us originals still here ty ![]() Also im glad shit is getting cleaned up. Prime always felt shady with Gerrard in charge, i have always disliked him and like Choya put, guy hasn't paid a salary in 4 years. Gets a sponsor and still has no money and doesn't seek proper help. Deserves everything he gets.

I am not accusing anyone, maybe the guy knew that the other guy did his cheese so badly to intentionally lose and reacted by intentionally losing himself. I love the taste of drama in the morning. Oh gee I wonder what game you're talking about, it's not like that game was the topic of insanely over the top amounts of discussion and was officially investigated and cleared by KeSPA.

Maybe that's why no one picked up Creator since KeSPA knew. Hopefully this means that Creator gets picked up by a team, finds his confidence again and regains his ability to be a dominant Protoss. But, I'm just spewing crap. I don't follow the SC2 scene that closely. Just my thoughts. And, I hope this doesn't spell further doom for SC. It was slowly being revamped...

Have you heard of the baseball player named Pete Rose? One of the greatest. He then bet on baseball and is banned for life.
