YoDa, B4, Gerrard arrested for match-fixing - Page 37
Forum Index > SC2 General |
Based on the official Police investigation, only the above players have been implicated in matchfixing. There is no reason to further accuse other players and teams until we get more information. Incessant blind accusations will not be tolerated. Please read the thread and the updates before posting. As of page 54 we will be moderating against match fixing accusations for players who were not caught in this incident, including those using voided Pinnacle bets as evidence.

I think its more likely they put his age down wrong then they put the name down wrong. at least that's what I'd guess. anyway i'm going to bed. would love to clarify if there's still an unidentified person or not, seems like the answer is no. anyway thanks for all the translations everyone, I really wish I could read Korean.

I remember him writing stuff for FighterForum and pretty much spearheading e-Sports journalism from the ground up in 2004-05 after retiring from the game. Really disappointing to hear him to be one of the culprits of the this match fixing incident.

"Please stop mentioning our players. They are still playing. If you ever heard any match fixing rumors on them, please report to the police, so they can be investigated. MK vs Byul match had already been investigated, and it gave him a trauma, so he couldn't play for proleague after that. Please, don't blame our players just because we are not one of those teams owned by huge companies. And I think you guys forgot, but MK has earned more than 200k, you all know he used to be a top level player. Please stop blaming with just suspicion." So it looks like MK already had gone through on an investigation even before the summer, and the conclusion was non-guilty.

More information about him not being allowed to play in proleague after that? I don't believe I ever heard of this. I thought it was just MVP not wanting to risk the bad publicity. *Not trying to accuse MK or anything, just genuinely curious.

I think he means MK was too mentally affected by the scandal to perform half-decently in a PL match?

He played the literal worst match in professional starcraft 2, so bad that he was accused of fixing the match. The stress that that left him left him unable to play
