With LOTV coming nad if he plays other games, i am certain he can have more viewers than ForGG and such.

Pretty sure what he was trying to say was: Good news guys, I will start screaming SC2 everyday on twitch too . But I won't be playing seriously.

Mc was probabbly just sick and tired of the competition so telling himself and all the world that he wont be in it was and is a hughe step for him there is no coming back for him atleast for some time. He didnt post big storys about it, he just announced his retirement from competitive SC2, we reacted to it therefore if anything its our fault to hype it. Im glad his character will follow us still he would be a hughe loss to the scene might comentate or something like that from time to time. But i dont believe he comes back with LotV he just likes us and wants to still entertain us all.

Surprise, surprise. Just from the competitive side for a while. Why do we even bother with retirement threads. competitive play is as different from streaming as being a pro sports player is from being a pro sports coach. by your logic is incontrol not a retired player (at least in context of hots)? is rotterdam a "pro player" bc he streams successfully? come on now and you know why we bother with these threads, because there's nothing else to talk about at the moment. it's not like they take away from the forum

Retiring from competitive side of things = retiring from SC2. Him not competing in tournaments anymore is a big announcement, he doesn't have to stop sc2 as a hobby to "retire" from sc2 as a career

It is sweet of you to defend MC and all that, but I, like all the other fans of SC2, are still entitled to express our opinions on what we think of MC's current and future SC2-activities whether you like it or not.
