I really don't understand why Life didn't changed Maru with a weaker opponent? This decision (replacing Fantasy with Bomber, and keeping Maru) I am afraid it will turn and bite him...

My take on it is that he expects to still go through in first place (possibly with Bomber beating Maru once) but wanted to have Maru in his group so they wouldn't be on the same side of the bracket in the playoffs, making sure Life vs Maru couldn't happen before the finals. (also Bomber said TvZ is his worst and he's known for his TvT)

Honestly, he has had more trouble with Fantasy than with Maru in the past. I can't say for certain why he didn't switch Maru out, but it's entirely possible he feels that Fantasy is a risky curveball whereas Maru is a known quantity. Bomber and Myungsik he can handle for sure, though, so I don't think he'll struggle.

Also, Life doesn't give a single fork about facing difficult opponents

that actually makes a lot of sense. maybe Life can practice with Bomber (old startale brothers) and together they might kick out Maru before Ro8?
also how is group B not the group of death by a landslide?

The only things that resembles death in group B is the players careers.

INnoVation has been getting countered recently as he's becoming more predictable, sOs is in somewhat of a slump showing some terrible performances, Rain's skill is going down ever since ex-KesPa, Bbyong is good but doesn't have that championship prestige that a name like Life gives.

Surprised by what most think the group of death is. Group A does have two very good players in Maru and Life, but Myungsik and Bomber are only fairly good, so I don't see that as a group of death. Group C with 3 contenders looks much more dangerous to me.

Every group is so good, but Group C is the death group imo. Having 3 out of 4 players on a huge rise, all being top 3 of their races, is enough reason for that. Life and Maru are the only 2 with those qualifications in their group. Even though the whole group is beastly, only Life and Maru are tip top players.
Really hoping for Maru/Life (impossible for me to go for Bomber in this group, even though I'm really wishing for his success in 2015), herO/ByuL, sOs/Bbyong, and Rogue/FanTaSy. After that, I hope either ByuL or Bbyong take out sOs so that hero doesn't have to face him, lol

I completely agree why he wouldn't keep Fantasy and get rid of Maru in a heart beat makes no sense to me hopefully it doesn't come back to bite him like you said, but I'm seriously dumbfounded by this decision.

Fantasy is a beast vs zerg tho, Maru and Life are friends, they will both make it through.

INnoVation becoming even more predictable than he (always) was? sOs is wild card. If the paycheck is high he'll perform though :D

Life probably like "fuck you for picking Maru, asshole" and kicked him out of the group.
If bomber clears this group---- he will win. Life was a fool to bring in bomber over fantasy.
I guess Life doesn't really care, after all he is already seeded for Blizzcon. With bomber and life being on the same team/sponsor I wouldn't be surprised if bomber "magically" beats life.

Life not caring much is more likely. Anyone can take down anyone from this stage and it is absurd to think that a single player can plan ahead for the final opponent.

Yeah I installed it on my phone. I don't play that much SC2 anymore and I'm waiting for the new LotV patch so I can play that. I'm thinking about going pro for Hearthstone.

If I'm not mistaken, your Ro4 can't happen since the guys here are in the same Ro16 group.
Why are people saying Group A is Group of Death, I mean B has the most equal skillfull players. In Group A Maru and Life are clearly the favourites. In B you cant say who would advance.

Swag_bro, i am dissapointed. Like some1 before said, that RO4 wont happen. Life and Bomber can meet only in finals if they both advance. Same for herO and Dream.

I agree with your comments for both A and C. But the Group of Death can have an alternate meaning, which is that it's a group no one can predict who will get out of (with the addition that it should be entertaining in that respect and the players, good).
With Group B you've got 3 former champions, and 4 players who are all top 5 of their races. Any 4 of them could come out and the games should be close (hopefully) and exciting.
