At this point, all I know is that the LoL roster has been dropped by Wan In International. Their team has a crazy killing spree of 21-1 in League Masters Series group stages. TPA, AHQ, HKES get rolled by these guys and 20,000 people are willing to watch them do it. If they are doing this to the best LoL team in Taiwan, why wouldn't they do it to the SC2 roster when there are no tournaments to compete in at the moment?

I can think of one.... if their LoL team decided to ask for more money.

But the team won't disband, because they can find a new sponsor, right?

YFW's sponsor? edit : so if I understand well, Wan In, sponsor of YFW, stopped sponsoring them (or at least their LoL team), which led to players not having uniforms and playing without the yFW tag? But why not use the YFW tag since it doesn't contain references to WanIn?

Probably the players demanded better deals and the team just said no. That's pure speculation, of course... Like this whole thread. As far as I know, Parting played under the yoe Flash Wolves tag, 6 hours ago.

Seems no sense to me Because two thirds (SC2 and Special Forces 2 teams) of the team have no tournaments to compete in within Taiwan. So, while the LoL team is carrying its weight, the rest of the team is just sitting there collecting dust (except for Has, competing in WCS).

And parting who almost won the GSL and the people playing in proleague getting some exposure. (edit- misread, not sure if you mean only worth the exposure if it's taiwan)

It was posted to the yoeFW fanpage that they decide on that night whether or not they continue playing in LMS. EDIT: I just posted a disclaimer in the main body of my OP.

After reading the title, I first assumed FW's sponsors dropped them because PartinG dropped the ball. Then I read it might be focused on the LoL team, which will indirectly affect the SC2 team. So I realized it wasn't PartinG's fault (although it might have been a factor in the sponsor's decision). Why would the LoL team not play under the FW banner? They are still FW, but without a large sponsor, aren't they? Was the decision to drop FW done post or pre GSL? If pre, why was PartinG still playing under FW banner, while the LoL team wasn't? I really hope FW finds a new sponsor, or whatever clusterfuck is going on internally is all figured out. I would hate to see PartinG out of a job again. And I don't want to see him crawling back to KeSPA.

But in my opinion, it seems strange that a team would suddenly decide they need to drop the strongest roster in Taiwan for the most popular game while simultaneously keeping the entire SC2 roster.

But in my opinion, it seems strange that a team would suddenly decide they need to drop the strongest roster in Taiwan for the most popular game while simultaneously keeping the entire SC2 roster. Well I imagine that yoeFW dropping their SC2 division would have severe repercussions with ST/KeSPA. That and most sc fans love yoe's sc division whereas it seemed like there was a lot of vocal anger toward the league team recently
