What I find noteworthy:
- KT back to their core 4. Guess the beating they took last week didn't really convince them to field anyone else (kinda sad for TY though) - Maru not fielded vs KT. I hope there's nothing wrong with Maru (especially his wrists...) - Trap vs Zest rematch. Zest going full "Taken" on the guy who dared to challenge him: "I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you. AND THEN I'LL DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN MADDAFAKKAAAAAAAAA" - Prime vs Samsung might actually be close. - MVP gonna get slaughtered by CJ. It won't be close, and it won't be pretty. Unless you're a CJ fan, then everything's gonna be peachy. - Just like Will Smith, SKT should be cruisin'. Another victory without breaking a sweat.
Edit: after seeing the post above, I realise Maru's absence is probably due to the NSSL Final. Good, I'm less worried now :-)

Both NSSL finalists not fielded. GSL final one day later than NSSL final, Life still in the line-up :D

I don't think Prime vs Samsung will be that close. YoDa didn't look good last week, Dear is finding his form again and Creator didn't get PvP.

Pretty good matchups for Jinair

ugh, this week looks awful for FPL again. Made it through the last with some luck, but no dream or soO this week and the trade options seemingly suck :/
Life and ByuL will probably win but those matches are still a little iffy.
|
Maybe Maru and Dream are not able to prepare the team matches due to the NSSL Finals. but KT made Life, the GSL finalist, in the Line-up. I think it's not good for him.

It probably isn't but KT are really stubborn when it comes to their line-up in SPL and it's a shame there's plenty of other talented players on the team but yeah KT just refuse to give them a chance. One of the main reasons I dislike KT as a team.

Pretty cool Kespa teams gave Dream/Maru preparation for their series and KT like yeah we need Life so he can practice loads np xD

need to trade in the next hours, probably can't trade later this weekend. Open trading please.

Prime is just sending BBoongBBoong to his own demise <.<
KT vs JAGW is gonna be sick!
Edit: I also just realised that Dear is the only Protoss this Proleague season to beat a Terran on Deadwing. <.<

Looks like a good week for my (new) anti. San is playing BOGUS, Hush and Solar aren't playing.

Ugh what a bad lineup for my FPL, no Dream or Leenock, Rogue gets Life, Stats get Cure
That Jin Air vs KT lineup is really epic though, must be sick games

Watch as HerO comes out as ace and beats herO again!
Also nice to see a Trap vs Zest rematch.

That Jin Air vs KT lineup is really epic though, must be sick games I hope so, I don't want this week of Proleague to be as shitty as the last one where so many good players weren't around <.<. The fact that there are 2 mirrors in the first 3 matches though is kinda concerning, whoever wins the first game might give their team the momentum to just go through 3-0, and that would suck.

This week looks really hard for predictions and there are not many good trades either from what I can see. Looks like a good week for the anti team though assuming no surprise ace match appearances >_<.

I like this lineup for CJ

Classic 2 weeks in a row is cool. Also sorry getting more and more playtime is nice rotation is good.

Jin Air still has a very good lineup despite Maru not being fielded, although he has definitely pulled them through a couple rough matches recently with sOs not really playing up to par. I think they may be wise to lean on Rogue if an ace occurs, although they will risk going up against Life who is ZvZ master. SO, in short, I have no idea but I'm eagerly anticipating that match.

soO not fielded? Sucks for my fpl.

Solar oh Solar where art thou?

Prime pls. Do whatever it takes. Mech. 6 pool. Soul Train. Anything!

Although its due to NSSL, I can assure you he has problems with his wrists. As every Terran does. That's the problem when you play the mechanically most demanding race over years.

Ugh.. painful.
I'm thinking Hush -> Curious and SoO -> Classic for trades this week.... can't have 3 players not playing... might just hold onto Dream since the trades are pretty poor value for him unless I want to roll the dice on MKP (never).

I was thinking Leenock for YoDa and soO for Classic myself. Sorry's skill level is basically unknown right now but I do not doubt the effectiveness of the SKT house to turn out amazing players so it makes me nervous trusting someone like Curious to beat him. Same thoughts on Dream... plus he is on a team that will win so at least that's a point. Trading him seems like an easy way to never be able to get him back.

The nice thing is that SoO is the exact same value as Classic so we wouldn't really be losing out. I'd have to take a few point hit to get Curious for Hush, but I might gamble on a Curious win this week against Sorry. That would guarantee Classic would play...

CJ are undefeated in ace matches so far no? And I doubt CJ would send out herO as ace

Last week was really rough for me. I expected it to be, but it was worse than expected. This week looks better, so my team really needs to perform.

By Aligulac, and by feeling this is going to be one helluva rough week for MVP.

When does trading for FPL open up?

On March 21 2015 04:27 jimminy_kriket wrote: When does trading for FPL open up?
I'm wondering the same. It's almost been a full day since the pairings went up and still no trading yet. This is my first time doing FPL but it seems like the other weeks generally had trading up a few hours after the lineups were announced.

What happen with the trades???

Chill guys, R1CH is probably busy, the trades will open eventually.

Hahaha that bias, I'm not even sure if this is trolling or not. Well, you can't call it a coincidence when there's only one race whose players keep having to limit themselves due to wrist issues. mechanically demanding is an eletist description, but Terran is simple more reliant on mouse-heavy, fast micro and less on positional and spellbased, precise micro.

The sample size is way too low to make any claims... A couple of Zergs (TLO and Scarlett) have had wrist problems too.

Sure, I agree on that, but as you pointed out yourself "more reliant on mouse-heavy, fast micro" =/= "most mechanically demanding", since mechanics also account for mouse precision and not only speed, as well as keyboard use. Although it is worth noting that players from other races sufferred from wrist issues (Scarlett, Snute, NaNiwa,...), and that with adequate medical care and intelligent training I'm pretty sure that even Terrans could avoid these issues (and in the case of Maru, avoid having terribly handicapping life conditions at a very young age).
edit : to make it clear, I agree on the part about Terran micro being fast and mouse-heavy, because while it seems at first sight that more Terrans have wrist issues than the other races, we don't have any precise figures about that. And all wrist issues are not equal, too.

Because mere mortals such as those who play for Prime cannot hope to oppose the one true God. Kespa has to think about their tv deal

KeeN for Pet on anti soO for Classic on main Reality for Curious on main
So then I'll have a pretty solid line-up this week:
ByuL Classic Curious Dream Stats Trap KT Rolster
BravO MarineKing Pet
Was thinking maybe KT Rolster for Samsung, because KT plays JAGW and Samsung plays against Prime, but then saw that they play against each other next week so trading my team twice would potentially not get me as many points in the end as going for a "Reality -> Curious" trade instead.
|
No Reality Samsung what the fuck lmao he's been the only bright spot for the team outside of Dear. No Solar either makes me think Prime might actually have a shot haha.
