Last round KT only deviated from their lineup 2 out of 7 times. With Life added in as well, i suspect that number will not increase. Stats looked pretty strong versus Maru when he was macroing. I would probably say he's in form

yeah looks tough. I would probably say marineking since he's probably most likely to lose, but I have no clue how good reality is now after his "hiatus"
In that case perhaps yonghwa is the best answer, even though he's quite strong in pvp. His opponent is Dear though

Seems like the least catastrophic to pick out of all the players you can trade Cure for. Any you absolutely have to trade Cure away!

Alright, my comments on those matches:
- Prime vs KT:
FlaSh is (was ?) supposedly good in TvP. I hope he wins vs Creator, it'll help build up his confidence back up again !
KT to 3-0 Prime on the back of that win. Zest not required to play (which might be a good thing).
-CJ vs SKT:
Definitely the match of the week.
The first 2 games are sick and could go either way IMHO.
soO should stomp over Sky_High.
Bbyong vs Dream has insane potential too, if Dream doesn't just die to an early game shenanigan... Imagine a Bbyong mech vs Dream bio macrogame, could be great !
I'd still give the edge to SKT though. CJ pushing them to Ace match would be super hype, but SKT to win it anyway.
-ST-Yoe vs JAGW:
Meh. Should be a 3-0 (maybe 3-1) stomp for JAGW. Nothing noteworthy here I think (unless I missed something ?).
-Samsung vs MVP:
- Has MKP fixed his TvT ?
- Is Bravo going to be able to win something else than a TvT ?
- Dear vs Yonghwa could be hype, if the match gets to that game (assuming no 3-0 for Samsung)
- Samsung to win that 3-1. Or maybe Yonghwa could push that to Ace match. Still, Samsung favored IMHO.

Tough lineup for trades indeed, I'm trading Keen for Bravo and Startale-Yoe for Samsung otherwise I'll keep my head down for this one. Myungsik and Yoda on anti is usually a bit iffy but I feel pretty safe on this one.
Dear vs Yonghwa makes me nervous though, really hope Dear can pull that one off. Sad that jagw isn't fielding Rogue but I guess a match against ST-Yoe is a good chance to give some playtime to the rest of the team.

sKyHigh vs soO will be crucial, as I got the former on anti and the later on team.
Not sure if I need to do any trading... I usually trade as much as I can, but this week it doesn't seem good. Maybe trade Action for Reality, but nah... Action will get a point for his team winning (and that more often than Reality) and I dunno if Reality will beat MKP, I don't really think so.
Maybe it's time to trade Solar, though. Losira might very well beat him.
Or maybe trade San (on my anti) against someone like Classic (who is better ofc but he doesn't play). I'm not sure if I can trust sOs in PvP.

I really like Trap and he has been playing very well don't take me wrong but Trap is a bit overhyped. He was played against Samsung and Ace matches are more than "sending your best player" I'm pretty sure jagw sent Trap ot snipe Dear PvP. Trap won 2 PvP and was probably used as PvP sniper just like Yonghwa, doesn't really say anything about his "overall form".
I'm keeping him too and thinks he is great but lets be realistic.

his overall form is more about his online perf, not only he won pretty handily his qualifiers but he played really, really well. and put that in SPL but we already knew the guy had some sick potential. I'm just happy to see someone who sadly fell off coming back in form

I think it's pretty clear they sent YoDa out on KSS in order to snipe Flash and Creator out on Deadwing to snipe Zest. The KT coach was just one step ahead.

Possibly, although trying to snipe Flash in his favorite MU seems like a risk, no matter how well YoDa has been doing in TvT recently. Maybe they hoped for Life and wanted YoDa to mech it work. Since Deadwing is a good Toss map, hoping for Zest or Stats was a good plan, but it's kinda easy to see through that they'd use Creator, they've even done it against SKT who were unlikely to field Classic or Billowy.

Well they couldn't possibly have known which map Zest will be fielded on. They tried the Creator snipe and it didn't work. They could field TANGTANG in ace if they feel the need to.

I think CJ has a better lineup than KT, even with Life. Life and Stats are looking very strong but with Flash and Zest both slumping and TY seemingly having been sent to the bench I'll take herO/Bbyong/ByuL.
But yeah, the worst part about the Life signing is that SPL is basically divided into the four "have" teams (KT, SKT, CJ, JAGW) that are all awesome and the four "have not" teams (Samsung, Prime, MVP, ST-Yoe). And since only 4 teams go to the playoffs I just feel like it'll be the same four teams every time. I'm sure they'll lose to one of the weaker teams occasionally but I doubt very much. The only one of the four weak teams that I can see making a strong run is Samsung because they have two guys in Solar and Dear who have proven they CAN be top aces, but as we've seen the ace match continues to be their downfall.

Well, this doesn't look too bad for me. It doesn't look great either but it doesn't look too bad. Hopefully YongHwa's PvP snipe skills don't fail me now.

I had Dream and Curious too and I traded Curious for soO. Dream's MU is way more favorable than Curious', and SKT is more likely to beat CJ than ST is to beat JAGW.

I was tempted to do that, but I decided to not to. If MKP wins, you end up with a player on a team that isn't likely to win a lot (sadly) and even if Action doesn't play, he'll get points for KT winning.

I feel as though I ought to play it safe and trade dear off my anti in exchange for leenock. As good as yonghwa's PvP snipe skills are.

The rules say you need at least one player of each race. Since Flash is your only Terran, you can only trade him for another Terran.
