That increases the variance by a ton since the skill gap is not that high. Well, most of them will realize that they can't shine as much in it as they can in SC2. That is, if a competetive scene will rise and if the game will be any popular (personally got zero interest in it). Though I'm sure a few of them might be successful.

WhiteRa said on facebook that he ll stream and play sc2 with Lotv

Shame, he always seemed like a good guy, reminded me of the older brother of a friend of mine. Best for your future Hasu!

Will keep cheering for you wherever you go and whatever you choose

Sad to hear, but I'm looking forward to the return of all of them for LotV. Also another call for better social interaction within the SC2 game client...

Pretty hard to talk about skill ceiling when people is still quite far from there. I assume you have no clue, that or you are a HotS and DOTA 2 pro.

Hasu aiming to win his next 3 EPS titles in yet another game?

What you have said can also be applied to Broodwar and SC2... Well SC2 has taken over Broodwar sadly.

The big difference is: To play SC2 on top level you have to be extremely good in mechanics and strategy. Being one of the best in Heroes of the Storm is less demanding in a direct comparison. I know that it makes little sense to compare RTS with MOBA, but what I think is that there will be alot more top players in Heroes than in SC2.
Furthermore it's a team game. You might have played the best game of your life but still lose because 1 team member has a bad day. In the worst case that results in no price money at all.
I don't say that Heroes is a bad game, but these are things I would consider if switching to another genre as a pro gamer.

Aww man, this dude was a fantastic caster. I hope you take some casting gigs while you wait for LotV.

But many people would say that it's a positive aspect of the game, learning to understand and coordinate with your team mates. For a foreign pro-gamer who is used to grinding games by his lonesome suddenly being expected to constantly discuss strategy and game plans with your team mates must be like seeing sunlight after living underground all those years. It's initially a bit unnerving, but it seems ultimately much healthier and less depressing.
