While Mvp isn't, Choya is participating in these qualifiers (playing under the ID Marineking, to make things more confusing) |

I bet he just joined a Taiwanese team.

Joining a Taiwanese team doesn't auto-qualify you to play in that region. You need to be a legal resident.

Inb4 MVP wins pl finals and Choya takes off his face to reveal he was Mvp all along

So it's a fake Mvp? That title got me so hyped for an instant...

If this means he's going to a different game, keyboards will be broken.

Best of luck to both of them!

So all legends like Mvp, NesTea, etc, retired. So sad

Made my day. Mvp.Mvp incomming.

If it were the real Mvp he wouldn't be playing as "IMMvp" since he's definitely no longer on IM. http://www.aligulac.com/players/8561-IMMvp/
That's some solid detectiving right there. Good job!

looks like it's not choya and not Mvp...

Those are just accounts that have the same names as those players from Taiwanese fans. You know, the way MarineKing initially made his name Boxer?

Until someone gives an explanation how Choya managed to become a resident of Taiwan, Hong Kong or Macau, I'm not really buying the Choya thing either. Choya didn't even play in WCS during 2014 when there was no resident restriction.

Other qualifier the Taiwanese IMMvp played in http://challonge.com/MSIBeaiit_TW Different account (IMMVP.849 and IMMvp). Not saying it really is Mvp playing in the WCS qualifier but I guess it's still possible?
E: Nevermind, dug up some other qualifiers where Mvp played in for sure, different account. So disregard this.
Also, I really don't believe Choya could somehow play in this.
