Nah seriously thanks for doing this for this year again
edit : Why are you taking into account retired players? (Naniwa, Lucifron)

I need to make it ignore or nerf players that have been inactive for over 10 aligulac periods, thanks

I've always been curious. How do you make statistics when we don't know how many tournaments there will be or even player participation. Do you just make a forecast about how many tournaments there will be and assume all players will attempt at the qualifiers?

Qualifiers with every player would take way too long to simulate. It uses a random selection of players to fill in the qualifiers, weighted towards players with Aligulac ratings over 1300. For regional qualifiers like WCS it only looks for players from the appropriate regions.

I forgot to answer your first question lol. At this stage the number of tournaments doesn't change much except adding a bit of stability. If I had 30 placeholder tournaments instead of 25 then the higher rated players would have slightly higher chances, it's kind of like going from a best of 5 to a best of 7 in that it adds stability. I chose 25 placeholder tournaments because last year there were 25 or 26 (I counted it but forgot now lol) WCS Partner tournaments.

Why does it have Major above Scarlett? Scarlett's Aligulac rating is higher, what other factors are there right now?

I'm no expect, but I think there are a whole bunch of randomly generated variables that are affecting it right now since very few lineups have been announced. This list basically means nothing.

ignore my idiotic ramblings, Die4ever that makes a lot more sense

it's because of the way region locking works, every season there will be 2 latin american players guaranteed in WCS Premier league, so that really helps Major a lot

You are correct. #1 is Life, #2 MMA, #3 Taeja, #4 is Soulkey. I still have to fix the website to show the 4 of them properly.
