If that's so, I can't imagine that Robert wouldn't have had more time to process, accept, and move on with life to the point where he would be less bitter about it.
I think the most honest part of this is where they specifically say that the board had lost confidence in having Robert as the CEO, without going into exactly why that was.
Whatever the reason, I'm hoping that truly nothing changes. Well, except for the guy in the limousine with Geoff during the hype advertisements. How good is the new CEO with Champagne bottles?

I don't see why he would only be bitter if it was a sudden firing. Maybe a long, hard-fought firing would make him even more bitter.

I can't think of a single truth that Robert has posted. So far all he's done is suggested that the situation and DH's statement is BS. However, he hasn't offered up anything better...
At this point I would say he's just "yelling fire" instead of fanning flames... Makes me question if there's even smoke.

There hasn't been any real official explanation of anything, from anyone. And there most certainly will never be one.
Robert can't reveal any "secret" behind all of this or he'd get sued. DH won't reveal any "secret" behind this to avoid negative consequences on their public image.
Who's in the right? Probably no one, but we'll never know. And we shouldn't have to know. We're not judges, we're spectators. And each one of us can decide which side he finds the most "probably" right.
After having been on the wrong end of the political side, several times, I'd rather side with Ohlen on this one. Both his and DH's communications around this are triggering flashbacks of things I'd like to forget. There *are* corporate assholes who are very good at saying the nicest things publicly but happy to fuck anyone over anything that could serve them better. And when that happens and you're the one who gets fucked, it pisses you off and you just want to shout at the world.
And this behaviour, under these circumstances, is *not* unprofessional. At all.
So... Ohlen bitched on Twitter, DH released the usual politically correct bullshit statement, we don't know anything about anything that actually happened, so until we get real information (which may never come, but we can hope for news from Richard Lewis or Slasher), siding with one or the other is a purely subjective thing.

He just had what he lived for ripped out from under him, it's sad but completely understandable that he is super mad about it even publically so. The comments about passive aggressiveness and unprofessionality is all super good until you're the one who gets their passion destroyed.
