He has said that he will play Blizzcon, DH Winter, and IEM WC because he is already qualified for them all

Not only does this line up have soO, to give him the ability to qualify, but it is also strong enough to maybe keep Jaedong from the top 16, which would mean, soO "only" has to get to the semifinals to overtake him. In general this will make a huge impact on the ranking, as the number 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16 and 17 attending. Only one absent from the critical region is sOs, who is attending RBBG Washington.
While it's awesome to see soO on this list, if he makes Ro4 in GSL, his match would be scheduled for September 26th, the same Friday as the start of Dreamhack.
Assuming GOM wouldn't reschedule the match due to the tight end of year scheduling and the Code S final set for October 4th, I'm guessing soO would most likely skip attending this event, although if he believes he has a greater chance in Stockholm than a Ro4 against either Zest or Rain and a ZvT GSL final, forfeiting in GSL and going to Stockholm could actually be a better choice. GOM always makes room. I remember once SangHo and some others were going to I think IEM, and GOM did the group a few hours early and recorded it. Then they showed the uncut VOD at their normal time so it was hard to tell it even was a VOD at all.

Considering guys can get in to Blizzcon without even advancing passed the ro16 in wcs. Yeah, I guess it sort of makes sense to send more players to other tournaments if they want to front the flight tickets and accommodations and such.

Alright, maybe I'm just getting confused by reading so many situations and looking all of the various permutations of X, Y, or Z. I just look at the scenarios you're listing, and they seemed to be putting Snute as below the Top 16 while not being passed by enough people.

Yea when it does event grouping it doesn't necessarily group events together that all swing their chances in the same direction, I thought about having it do that but decided against it. Instead it'll group events together in all different ways, and then score them as a whole and see which groups score the highest overall. That way you can still see different scenarios instead of only seeing the miracle scenarios and the catastrophes.

I said as many or more, because the lowest unmber of points you can receive (besides 0, of course) is 125, so if Snute gets more points than Jaedong at Dreamhack, Snute passes him, providing an additional player as cushion in the race for Blizzcon.

I think, that SKT tried to sign Rain once more. Because Fanta and Parting made streams + other activity and Rain isn't. They gave him more salary and chance to travel (obviously changed their minds about european events), but he disagree with this and they send Classic to Dreamhack.
They should call this tournament "How The West Was Won... By Koreans". Got some top westerners there, but the Korean line-up is just a bit too stacked to leave them any hopes, I think.

At least KeSPA was nice enough to swap the two GSL Ro4 matches so Cure-INno is 9/26 and Zest-soO is 9/24 so soO has that extra shot at Blizzcon... I panicked for a bit coz the GSL bracket had the old times, but saw the tourney threads with the adjusted times and just sighed in relief.

Flash still need some improvement to be a top contender (by the way he is getting there, but not quite yet).
BW and SC2 are very different games, so its rather hard to shift core values of one game to another,.
Yeah, Fantasy and Jangbi didn't transition that well either. Most of the OSL/MSL champs are doing well but not exactly on top of the world. I wish JD would shape up.
