Prime and K-tel, a communication and fire-fighting instrument company, signed a sponsorship contract.
With the new sponsor, Prime now pays salary for all of their players and staffs for the first time in 4 years.

I'm still a bit sad that MKP didn't stay though... Seems like he really wanted to leave if even the promise of proper salary with a solid sponsor wasn't enough to convince him to stay. Also yes, Prime now officially joined the KT War !

That notwithstanding significant earlier losses such as Maru, Eins, Jila/KaL..... I really hope that they can get back on their feet and put up a good fight next proleague, rooting for them. The new sponsor should attract some free agents off the market...maybe some recently-dropped ex-MVP people? DRGPrime or KeenPrime does have a nice ring to it. Heck, even SuperPrime GO PRIMES! EDIT: On August 04 2014 17:11 Marou wrote: Show nested quote + On August 04 2014 16:34 lichter wrote: I hope Prime have fire safety drills. EDIT2: Did someone say that INCA was in that picture? Did he change his name or smth cause i dont see him in the prime liquidpedia page....can anyone tell us who are all the people in the pic? thanks!

Unlike, somehow, the rest of Prime, who may have been eating out of dumpsters and living in boxes for the last 4 years unbeknownst to the rest of us.

Team like skt or kt contribute for their team like 10 bilions a year. And player like rain soo are received salary for 1bilions a year. But it is really worth that they have new sponser I assume thats 1 billion Won, not USD. Even so I don't beleive Rain or soO makes the equivelent of $1 million USD per anum :o 10 billion won is like 10 mil USD. I doubt they get that much money. During last season's proleague parting was making 8-9k USD per month I would like to have a source for this statement that isn't word of mouth I thought it was posted in the thread that he was getting about 70k over 9 months, too lazy to check source.

I thought it was strange the esf teams never took on sponsor names, it seems like a much better way to advertise for sponsors than just wearing their names on uniforms. I hope its PRIMEKTC like it was PRIME.WE. CreatorKTCPrime sounds weird.
