JD is their only top tier player left :/ To be honest Huk managed to stay quite consistent for a lot of time, I'd add him as well. Maybe he's not on Jaedong's level, but on a good day he can kill solid players. Hope Suppy will step it up, because otherwise I see it grim unless new players are involved...

He took that loss really hard ![]() It's super hard to be a progamer in korea atm with there being more talented players and fewer teams/leagues etc that are willing to pay said progamers for their talents. JYP has been with us for a long time and he is a fucking awesome human being. Always friendly and complementary, willing to practice at any time and in his day was a helluva protoss. JYP will be missed <3 PS! As an aside.. one cool story about JYP and how he joined EG: Puma and JYP were/are good friends and when Puma knew he would face MC in the finals of NASL he practiced as much as he could for this matchup as he knew those finals would change his life. Naturely at a US based tourney like this he didn't have weeks or even days to practice he had THAT night so he reached out in need of a friend/progamer to help him practice TvP and as the hours were horrible for his korean brethren most said no due to the fact that they'd have to play from something like 5am - 10am or whatever. Only JYP said yes staying up and playing at horrible hours for as long as Puma needed to help his friend win the NASL. After that Puma asked that JYP join the otherwise all non korean lineup of EG. Management fell in love with a guy that had such a great work ethic and dedication to his fellow teammate(s) so the choice was easy! Love ya JYP <3 Man JYP always seemed like an awesome person from how he played Proleague in the days of EGTL, sad to see him go but I hope the best for him

I don't think Geoff's in control of that decision (see what I did there?). Also, EG probably won't sign any new players, they've been downsizing their SC2 team for a while.

Love ya JYP <3 JYP's bloody adorable, I hope he comes back/hangs around in the NA scene, otherwise - He will be missed dearly! Inspirational stories like that are what drives many of us to follow suit and idolize such great human beings so that we may in turn be selfless and kind in our actions. All the best to JYP & EG! <3

Huk, Suppy and Demulism probably run on very small contracts. Even smaller for Xeno and Thorzain probably since they're both not full time. But heh, if that means EG can buy more Fighting games players ( they bought 3 in the past year ) I'm not angry LOL. Infiltration is a free agent guys !
