By this: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2014_Proleague/Statistics The top 2 would be hero and Maru I think it is determined by the number of wins, but only in the regular rounds - playoffs don't count. In Liquipedia playoff matches are included in the ranking. Awesome stuff by KeSPA, glad they are so invested into SC2. =)

Proleague is great now a days too though so it's all good for me.

Too many people could end up on the same wins. Internal ranking would be a much more accurate/fair way to doing it.

Also potential Flash/Jaedong thing that everyone will certainly be hoping for. ಥ⌣ಥ Also, like, does this mean SC2 is doing kind of well in Korea? It's a lot of money to throw back in. I guess what I'm trying to ask is, is this a big blow-out to try and get attention, or do they actually see it being worthwhile to even maybe continue yearly? I think SC2 is definitely on the rise in Korea. If you look at the average size of the audience for Proleague now compared to this time a year ago, it's gotten much larger. Yep, when I went to see PL last year it was pretty bad. Can't wait for my next trip to see some more PL matches!

Good work, Kespa. Hopefully a foreigner qualifies this time. What? :S Great stuff, especially rewarding Proleague performances with opportunities for individual honours which is something I love to see. More tournaments in Korea is something I feel is crucial for the financial stability of the scene long term, the overheads involved with flying Koreans out everywhere must have an affect on finances and prize pools. For all its reputation, I have been quite impressed with Kespa's entry into SC2.
