Lets hope naniwa goes to the same medical school as Thorzane, and EG can monetize its employees via a reality show hosted by Incontrol.

Earlier on mechanics are less important and being creative and surprising has more power. I guess we'll see him when the protoss expansion hits ^^ lol. You talk like he became bad at the game and lost motivation because of that. It's more like he lost motivation and stopped practicing.

Maybe MC, Jeadong or Parting can be called personalitys now. But they are so different. MC is just a troll. I would have argued against you but the idea that Korean players are robots or void of personality is too stupid and it's been used a million times too many. Come on dude, don't be thick.

Scarlett is going to Korea in a few weeks, and State just joined Prime and is said to consistently hang around the upper half of KR GM. I don't think there are 20 foreigners that could do the same.

I also really dislike HOTS, hardly play it, and only watch for a few players, Naniwa being one of them. Time to adjust my TL settings so only LOL streams and articles come up...

MC has no personality? Targa ? Mana ? Huk? Catz ? I'm happy for the SC2 scene today and I hope he'll never come back. Being different is good, being an ass like Idra or Naniwa is a shame. Just my 2 cents.

Naniwa was one of very few SC2 players who I'd get excited to watch. Whether you loved him or you hated him, the emotion that he played with transferred to the viewers. Some people would be angry if he won or happy if he lost because of his bad manners and "I only care about winning" attitude. I fell into the other camp with people who were elated when he won because his intensity was palpable onscreen, even though you couldn't see him. You just knew he wanted to win so badly, and that he really did put the work and time in to try to be the best. Seeing a guy who cared as much as Naniwa cared basically saying he doesn't enjoy the game anymore is pretty upsetting. Good luck to him in whatever endeavor he moves on to.
