ENCE eSports announcement:
http://www.ence.fi/isoja-muutoksia-starcraft-2-poistuu-joukkueen-alaisuudesta/

Translation:

Big changes: StarCraft 2 removed from the organization

Behind roughly 10 months of constant progress in the players as well as in the team in multiple sectors. StarCraft 2 was our first pick in the start when Samuli "elfi" Sihvonen joined as our figurehead even before ENCE eSports was officially announced. The goal was to build a coherent, supportive team around the captain, one which had never been seen in Finland before.

Soon after the team expanded with new young and promising players Joona "Serral" Sotala and Jaakko "Jagelius" Koski. With these players our road to a solid and recognizable organization was in good shape. However, sometimes the future can't be completely built beforehand, and as we saw with our CS:GO squad, unpredictable changes may happen. Hopefully, the changes this time will create something better.

The decision to drop the StarCraft 2 squad was made only a couple of days ago when the team captain [elfi] announced that now on he wanted to focus only on his own game and quit the administrative tasks in the team. ENCE's idea from the start has been to support and develop the Finnish esports, and without this corner stone [elfi], the continuation of the squad was deemed impossible. On top of his own play, Samuli's tasks included organizing the weekly practice for the team, streaming and writing a monthly blog of the team.

"The last year I played in the Finnish organization called ENCE eSports. There was a lot of good in the year, and we accomplished good results. However, times change and I have come to the decision that it is the best for me to continue my career elsewhere. I felt that I had to decide whether I continue as a pro gamer or not, and I have decided to still carry on fighting, which led me to this conclusion [of leaving ENCE].", Samuli comments on the decision.

It is time to turn the page, leave StarCraft 2 behind and move on towards new challenges. Many great events, victories and defeats shared together shall remain in the memories like those moments of success which have left us proud, grown us and taken us forward.

StarCraft 2 was:

Samuli "elfi" Sihvonen
Joona "Serral" Sotala
Jaakko "Jagelius" Koski

ENCE eSports wishes to thank our supporters and especially our players for this 10 month journey towards the peaks in the Finnish esports.

Hm, he has quite a history of teams and personal sponsors. I wonder what`s the reason for this lack of continuity as he is a pretty consistent player and as a sponsor you know what you get.

This makes it even more interesting. Does ENCE have anyone else on their roster? I wonder if they're dropping SC2 entirely or refocusing?

Serral should find team rather easily. He is so young and have already showed veery good games in ASUS ROG NorthCon and ASUS ROG Winter 2014. Artosis said that Serral will be huge in future, one of the best players.

ENCE eSports doesn't sound like a very developed organization if it has to burden their best player with the administrative tasks of managing a Squad.

Best of Luck to all the StarCraft Pro's. Hope you'll find a new team soon!

My inrepretation is that the best way for elfi to earn esport money is to challenge his left hand random play vs right hand random play and charge 100$ in pay per view model. All koreans would subscribe and he would be super rich.

Elfi has been the role model for players with less than lightening fast hands. He comes up with surprising wins and deserves a chance to continue showing what he can do. Serral has a lot of potential also so good luck to them both in finding teams or sponsors.

I love teams like Ence and Copenhagen Wolves and Property who try and gather a team of the best players from their home country so its a pity to see them leaving the org. Should be easy for elfi to find a new home, perhaps Fnatic

elfi is going to get strong team. That must happen, he is too good. Serral will propbly get team too. He has had some great results. Maybe mouz with heromarine yougster-line. Nut sure about Jagelius, maybe he won't get a top-notch team, but he will find something hopefully.

Would be nice if Elfi could go back to Acer, they seem to need good non-zergs.

Hm, he has quite a history of teams and personal sponsors. I wonder what`s the reason for this lack of continuity as he is a pretty consistent player and as a sponsor you know what you get.

Not much for the player to do if team quits, or personal sponsor only decides to do it for shorter time.

Scarlett has been tossed into the throes of misery now.

In all seriousness, I hope that all the players find a new team. Serral is looking very really promising and could definitely become a Premier League player in a year or two. His games against Supernova showed some incredible talent, something that needs to be developed.
