Damn, this bracket sucks. All chinese players except Toodming and all the taiwanese players except Ian get korean opponents, even the only three chinese/taiwanese players from last season get the (probably) best three koreans, who qualified, while there are 6 NA vs NA match-ups. I see, how the seeding system probably worked, but the outcome is rather unsatisfying.

Also, does anyone know, why exactly Sonic is withdrawing? Signing up for a qualifier and than forfit the tournament only 1-2 weeks later seems rather odd, I´d be interested on what happened to him, hopefully nothing serious.

so in this case name recognition probably. can also be used for highest quality but in that case Its usually explained more specifically (the marquee matchup for great play). Thins used by itself its usually just how well known/hyped they are although It probably won't be considered a marquee match if one player is clearly going to destroy the other.
