Thats too bad, i would have liked to steal some builds if you were playing Terran lol.

On a side note, im sorry for the poor showing, my plan was to wake up early, eat breakfast, warm up games, and get in there and kick some ass. Instead, i had trouble sleeping, slept 1 or 2 hours, and could not get out of bed when my alarm went off. Instead, i woke 1.5 hours late for the tourny, rolled out of bed and played my match, which i lost horribly, i was really not prepared. Was going to be hard enough beating Teddybear with practice, but i had no chance in my state, hes a really strong player and pwnd me. Im very unhappy with myself, i worked all week to get to this point, and i let it slip passed me. Anyways, sorry to everyone involved, sorry to Teddybear who probably had to wait a long time, and sorry i screwed up. Take care all. gg gl.

Don't worry, that's not quite as embarrassing as losing to 6 vultures in under 10 minutes like I did.

(Edit: Removed the google doc and just added the interesting statistics here)

Global ladder win rates:

TvZ:
- Terran 49,5 %
- Zerg 50,5 %

PvT:
- Terran 50,3 %
- Protoss 49,7 %

ZvP
- Zerg 56,8 %
- Protoss 43,2 %

Seems good so far. ZvP seems a tad alarming but remember that there are not too many matches to base this on (around 2,5k i think or more). I would wait some more weeks to see if ZvP stabilizes before shouting "IMBA" too loud.

Seems ok considering how BW ZvP winrates would peak at 60% even post-Bisu revolution. Have there been any changes since the 10th? (either patches or a drop in winrate)

OK? LOL. GSL PvT is like 54%, looks quite OK to you? Yet there are only one Terran in Ro8.
just like you play vs bronze players and got 50% win ratio....

I mean it's based on BW ZvP which at times had even more extreme winrates, my point is they're making progress.

It was heavily variable but it doesn't seem to stray too far from the game it's based on.

These win/rates can easily be explained by simply looking at the quality of zerg players and compared to the quality of protoss players (based on SC2-ranks). Obviously when sample size is small, the quality of the player pool has a high influence on win/rates, and thus these statistics are borderline useless.

Ugh, that sort of sentiment is just really annoying to me. We all have to do our part to get Starbow accepted as a friendly alternative to Starcraft II that has a part to play in the general ecosystem of Starcraft related things.

What we shouldn't do is be divisive, it provokes posts like this: http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/20ifw0/fed_up_with_sc2_after_iem_rifkin_casting_starbow/cg3j7n5

I agree. Being aggressive like that will just further isolate and marginalize the community and its just a sentiment I don't share.
there's a bug in the new patch where the other player keeps killing all my dudes.. please nerf this
