Currently the plan is to reset after the 31st of March to use a new ranking system with the next version of the Eros client. Veritas wrote a post about it here.

It's easy to make mistakes in a tourney for sure. I made alot that almost got me eliminated. It was sooo close to working. The main factor behind it I believe was that he was on one base. In starbow, it's sooooo difficult to be behind like that. He cancled his CC after I scouted it, so I wouldn't be prepared for a huge timing attack. When he saw that he would not break me, he thought the only option left was to all in. 5 less scv's with that attack and he could have possibly been worse off. They pretty much soaked all of my bane hits.

What I'm really saying is give Nasd some more credit than that. I almost gg'd twice in that series in games that I ended up winning, and when games are that close mistakes get amplified 10x. Maybe his nerves got the best of him in some cases, because at least for me, my heart was racing a 1000 mph lol.

edit: for the record I feel that luck was a little in my favor today in my games vs him.

Aren't you guys reflecting on team games search sooner or later? I have a lot of friends who just play Hots because of that, but with that option they would switch automatically to Starbow and then probably starting 1vs1.

There's basically one person working on the client for a few hours per week, so as cool as it would be to have team search, it's unlikely to happen anytime soon without other people helping out.

All the code for the client and the website is open source and can be viewed here.

Thanks that's what I was going for. After my cc was cancelled I could have tried to battle back from behind but I figured that would be more exciting (on top of trying to make it work)

and it was hard to predict the outcome of this decision too so imo it was exciting.

Watching the Finals was painful.
Hydra bust vs Zealots?? I feel some of use forgot about BW responses. Goon range and cannons won the day back then vs hydra bust. What is stopping it now?

I was happy to see a few zergs walling off there nat/3rd.

Canons have slower firing rate in Starbow due to it being faster than BW when chrono'd. This is something we are keeping an eye on and I actually suggested that it has a slightly faster default fire rate a couple of patches ago, but we waited a bit more.

We'll probably restart that discussion if Hydra busts are too easy and too common.
