Is there anything we can do to change that? The invitational did have viewers in thousands and BASETRADETV are not a nobody, unknown casters.

Is it paid or something? Would be a great advertising.

TL is a community site, I imagine if you write a really good article about StarBow and it gets some attention, it may well be spotlighted.

They did have news about SB invitational on front page. I guess this ladder tournament is not interesting to them. If I had the time I would write one. I played 3 games yesterday and lost all three but I had so much fun in game 2 and 3 due to them lasting longer then sc2 , none being max army fights and fights happening all the time with no clear winner until the end.

In my opinion, the most interesting events so far in SC2 are : -GSL open seasons: because this was where the unknowns made their names, before top players existed. I think this format will not work well enough unless there is someone outstanding enough to revolutionize the metagame. -Proleague and GSTL: team leagues are really cool because you have the possibility of all kills and you get to see how Starbow us played of someone is trying to smile you rather than play a set of games. Could work with a drafting system to ensure that the best players are not all on one team. -TSL: this is probably my favorite tournament in terms of pre-tournament hype because of a separate storyline for every player (one winner in each qualifier followed by an introduction to that player) You can also look at the Dota model; I don't know much about it, but i assume one could learn from how it went from a UMS game to a super popular game that has its own worldwide tournaments My vote would be to implement TSL style tournaments and give interviews on each winner, building up to a grand tournament where everyone knows the players and has someone to root for. I would wait of course until you have the ladder working in Korea so you can have qualifiers there too. It would be great if you could have TL feature a tournament section on it on this site like they did with their own TSL. The proleague format would be a good followup for that tournament, once some hard hitters are established.

I hope we can get 1 big prime time tournament that gets us more people :X Waiting times are too long at this kind of time ;< One cool thing would be to combine all ladders and make it possible to decide whether you wanted to search on EU/NA (or korea) only (or veto one of them). Would require some technical rework though.

Would require some technical rework though. I've suggested to Veritas adding an "All" setting to the client to search on all 3 servers (as adding the korean server will dillute the player pool). It would need a mechanism to determine which server to play the game on. Also as requested: The lead up the Starbow Invitational Tournament qualifiers shows a daily average of approximately 450 games, with it declining to around 200ish daily games afterwards. NOTE: These are only games played on the Eros client and don't reflect all Starbow games.
